Those pictures are stunning. When Normani is on stage or in pictures she looks like a star. Her visuals are on point. However her voice on the radio or in general is just not distinct it could be anybody or everybody. It's very just normal. She gonna need some very strong material to counter that.

Wow she is stunning. With her looks and performance abilities she could go really far.
The thing about her tone not being too special -- well, look at Beyonce. She can work at it and still give it enough personality to make her songs pop.

It's not worth bumping the single thread for this since it's pretty much dead on radio now, but Normani and 6lack performed Waves on Fallon last night. I'll assume this was not meant as promo so much as an opportunity for her to get in a little stage prep for the Sweetener Tour.

Confirmed for Lollapalooza in August. She'll also be at Essence Music Festival in July. Summer already full! She should have a new single in April or May to fully capitalize on this. She got some good reviews from MTV and Rolling Stone for opening night on the Sweetener tour, but I haven't seen any video yet other than a couple of snippets. IIRC the setlist is (not necessarily in this order) Love Lies, Dancing With a Stranger, Checklist, Waves/One In a Million mashup, 5H medley (Boss/Worth It/Work From Home - crowd loved it but Normani Nation was not amused lol), and a Rihanna medley (idk which songs). damn i really wanted her to be a full on rnb girl and i love "waves". sadly her audience only seems to buy into the pop stuff as most of her fans come from the fifth harmony times, no? still love her tho, i really wanna hear an album from her!
