haven't done one of these questionnaires in a while, let's give this a shot
1. What song(s) do you expect to be in the Top 10? #1? In Chains, TLIKTB, Degausser, THIAM, Fader, Squalor Victoria. One of the first 2 will win. 2. What song(s) do you expect to be in the bottom 10? #40? The Royal Concept, Flight Facilities, Butch Walker will for sure be bottom 10. not sure about #40. 3. What song(s) will have the highest standard deviation? Jose Gonzalez? maybe? or Baby Bee? or Typhoon? 4. What song(s) will have the lowest standard deviation? hmm, gonna go with something like Beirut on this one. 5. How far do you think your #1 will go? top 10, hopefully. 6. What number did your favorite first listen end up being? #9

Let's talk about #40, shall we? We're starting off big. And I mean big. Right here we have our third highest standard deviation of the game. Yes, at #40: our last place position. Honestly, take out the top two rankings, and this would have been a very easy #40. Nine people put this inside their bottom 5, with seven of those being bottom 2s, and four of those being magical #40s. Now, what makes this so special to deserve a high standard deviation? Well, we're losing two Top 10s here right away...and one of those is a #1. This one spent the most time at #40. It spent most of the first half there, but it started to pick up a bit – even leaving the bottom 5 at a point. Towards the end though, it started to fall again. It didn't hit #40 until our last person decided to bring this down from 39-40. Also, here are your movement orders (in case you couldn't tell before): 1. singingrulebritannia 2. @humanshazam 3. aerodynamite 4. Doc Indie Party Rock 5. Daryl the Beryl 6. American Idiot 7. @jamesflame 8. Beno 9. Red 10. Az Paynter 11. Lordef†ones 12. wheatsquares33 13. astorknight 14. peacebone

5. How far do you think your #1 will go? top 15 at the very least, likely top 10 6. What number did your favorite first listen end up being? The better question is what was the highest song I had heard before (the answer is #7)

I'm not entirely sure what this is, but as long as it's not my #1, we're good.

#39 doesn't have the fun of "On Our Way" with a high standard deviation. In fact, it has the 7th lowest.
This one doesn't have any Top 10 rankings, as the love was hard to find here. Though, two people ranked this inside their Top 20, and one of those is sort of close to a Top 10! Eight people put this in their bottom 10, with four of those being in the bottom 3. No one put this as their #40, however.
This was one that just never got going. It never left the bottom 3. This also spent six times at #40, and it almost finished there until someone came to save it.

I like every song in this RD, but some, I just liked less than the others. This was one of those songs. Not bad, but just not something I would rank high in a rankdown as stacked as this one.

#38 actually played out pretty similar to "Buttercup" at #39 – except this time we see our third lowest standard deviation.
No one put this inside their Top 10 again, but one person came very close (who were the only Top 20 for this). Eight people put this inside their bottom 10, but only one is a bottom 3, which isn't a #40.
This is one that started off okay, but as more lists came in, it started to fall because it couldn't get any love. It actually only spent three times inside the bottom 3, and sadly for it, it lands right on the edge of it at #38.

#37 gets us a more meddling standard deviation.
Just one person put this inside their Top 10, but this one is a Top 5. One other person came close to putting this in their Top 10, while another joined them by placing this in their Top 20. The others? Only three people put this in their Top 20, as the rest of the nine put this in their bottom 10. Three people wanted a bottom 3 here, and one person didn't like this so much that they put it at #40.
This song never left the bottom 5, and it spent a decent bit in the bottom 3. Its lowest hit was #39, while its highest hit was a low #36.

I'm going to move away from guessing Butch Walker and hope that it's my #40.
(Watch it actually be Butch this time.)
