Yup - about damn time to honor my hoodrat queen Ms. Keyshia Cole with the first ever rankdown that I host!
To fully appreciate the incredible catalog of the queen of late-00's Hip-Hop Soul, I decided to include not only singles from her 7 albums but also her most memorable features as well as fan-faved deep cuts. The list could've of course gone longer, but here we are with the 38 songs that made it into the final list!
FOR PARTICIPANTS:
1. Listen to all the 38 songs. Itβs all in one Spotify playlist!
2. Rank the 38 songs and send it over to me via PM by the last Sunday of April (4/29).
3. (Optional) Send me 3 other songs that you love that's not on the list! I would present the most popular ones as bonuses during the revealing.

Don't forget to do the Keysh rankdown! Meanwhile, check out one of her best early-career live sessions. The song Love, I Thought You Had My Back was my instant favorite when I first heard her first CD. I struggled and decided to exclude it from the list, simply because I cannot take it ending up outside the Top 10. |
