I'd definitely rather this over the other one. Thanks for hosting bat1990!

Thanks for hosting! bat1990I'm so happy this won over the more obvious "Dance". I love both but INRBIO is sooo much better imo.

5. So Emotional (12): Another solid 1980s bop from Whitney! It didn't make much of an impact back home in the 1980s and thus it didn't make my personal chart --but I made it re-chart during The Greatest Hits era and it reached the top --as it should've in the 80s HOWEVER, this is not ROCK at all. I mean, a few guitar sounds in the intro and bridge, albeit really cool, doesn't make it a rock or even pop-rock song. Just saying! 4. I'm Your Baby Tonight (17): Huh? This is not top 5 material for Whitney IMO. The song is okay, and WH sounds a bit too shouty for my liking. HWIK, IHN or even ATMTIN should've been top 5 instead... 3. I Will Always Love You (2): I liked this song when I first heard it, but I didn't LOVE it. The last minute after the break was too much of a clusterfuck for me to love it. The melisma, the over the top vocals were a bit too much especially compared with Dolly's version. I still believe that Dolly made a better job at emoting here, and that's my favorite version of the song. However, with time, I've grown to love Whitney's version as well and have a better appreciation at her vocals in this song. That acapella intro is one of the most beautiful beginnings of a song, though. Overall, a classic. 2. I Wanna Dance With Somebody (1): My top 4 was hard to rank to be honest. At some point I had IHN, IWALY, and HWIK, at #1. I ended up going for I Wanna Dance, as it's my favorite dance song from her. It's a song that just makes me smile and feel good! The music is the type of 80s bop that I still like. The song brings back great childhood memories --including from watching the video. Her voice sounds great. And the melody is superb, including the last minute or so. Plus that laughter is cute 1. It's Not Right, But It's Okay (9): This was Whitney's last personal chart-topper. I liked the original version, but LOVED the Thunderpuss remix, which is the version I used for this RD. She sounds great, the song is a bop, that bridge is A+, and overall this is a really good one from WH. Even though it ended 'just' at #9 in my RD, I'm "Okay" with it being the upset #1 of the RD. I love it still, just as I do with all the songs in my top 10 for this RD. Thanks bat1990 for hosting!! This was awesome, and I've learned quite a bit more about WH's career, and discovered music from her. It's made me appreciate her a bit more She'll forever be one of the music icons and one of my best 1980s/90s musical memories!!

Pleasantly surprised to see INRBIO at #1, mainly because it’s not a song of hers you see ranked at #1 against other classics like IWALY and even IWDWS. It’s refreshing. Definitely a classic in its own right, the original and remix. Thank you bat1990 for hosting this and for all of your hard work. It was a lot of fun!
