Please Note: I am going out of town for Memorial Day weekend. This rankdown will resume Monday or Tuesday of next week. But for now, let's round out the bottom 10...
#21: Don't Stop the Music StatsPoints: 267 Average: 19.07 Std Dev: 6.878 Charts Sweden 7 Norway 19 History & Tidbits The second single and title track from Robyn's third album. The song performed well in Sweden and poorly (though it did chart) in some other European countries. It received a music video (that was as boring as the song. Clearly all the money went to "Keep This Fire Burning"). Play: PPPPERFECT ranking!!! This was a nice discovery of a cute song. I almost ranked it top 20, but at some points it was just too cute/borderline generic to get there, Set me free was another discovery, and a pretty good one! Fun, different, eclectic. Didn’t know that Maluca and Robyn had collaborated! Great Latin influence here that should’ve been top 20... Don’t stop the music seemed to have potential but people got comfortable with what they came up in like two attempts lol. Add some tweaks to the production and structure of the song and this could’ve been much much better.

Time to resume!! #20: U Should Know BetterRobyn f/ Snoop DoggStatsPoints: 245 Average: 17.50 Std Dev: 8.225 Charts N/A History & Tidbits Released as video promo single from Body Talk, this number finds Robyn once again uniting with Snoop after being featured on the remix for his "Sexual Eruption/Sensual Seduction" a few years prior. In the video, gender-bent younger versions of the artists appear with Robyn getting a cameo as the blonde boy's mother. The song did not chart in any territories. Host OpinionI underranked this a little.... She just has so many good songs. This one has fun lyrics too. #19: Konichiwa Bitches StatsPoints: 242 Average: 17.29 Std Dev: 7.151 Charts UK 98 Australia 67 (w/ "Cobrastyle") History & Tidbits In 2006, Robyn secured international distribution for her self-titled independent release. This song was chosen as her pronouncement of her return and was serviced as a promo/heater single with a hilarious video in markets outside of Scandinavia. It also lead off The Rakamonie EP which was a mid-2000s trend to create hype for artists and albums. Host OpinionI may have underranked this a bit. It's fun and funny, full of fierce attitude, and quintessentially Robyn. So, the remaining 18 are all painful to me. In anticipation of losing 18 songs of pure perfection, here is a Robyn bonus! Robyn Highlight"Dancehall Queen" A promo single from the Body Talk series which got a promotional video! The song also charted in Sweden at #56.

Love this song and video. One of my favorites from her first ep. I didn't know it charted in Sweden.

#18: Fembot StatsPoints: 241 Average: 17.21 Std Dev: 4.117 Third LOWESTCharts Sweden 3 Norway 10 Europe 99 History & Tidbits The first promo single from Robyn's Body Talk series was extremely well received. It performed quite well in Scandinavia on downloads alone and caused quite the buzz elsewhere 'round the world. Robyn wrote this feminist anthem about being a woman turning 30 and contemplating the choice or a traditional family path with children. Hint for #17This song is either a cover or was covered. #RobynsImpact ALSO, the next 4 songs are separated by only 8 points. So a few changes or additional people could've switched these up drastically.

I agree with Shooter, "Fembot" is not a standout in Body Talk trilogy but still is a good song and a feelgood track I can casually insert to my electronicpop playlist.

#17: Keep This Fire Burning StatsPoints: 227 Average: 16.21 Std Dev: 7.423 Charts Sweden 3 Norway 19 Denmark 7 Europe 96 Host Opinion I severely underranked this FIRE, like the song says. Funky and groovy. There's a reason why Beverley Knight had success with it in the UK since RCA/BMG did not issue Robyn's initial version there. I could listen to this for days. (Though Robyn's hair was AWFUL during this album campaign) History & Tidbits Our first #1 loss! The lead single from Robyn's third album Don't Stop The Music. The song received a colorful, futuristic video and was released in Scandinavia, continental Europe, and Australia/New Zealand. For this number, Robyn worked with some of the producers from her debut album and clearly they pushed each other to update their sound. The song still sounds fresh to this day and was a moderate hit across Europe, but not enough for Robyn's label to issue the full album outside of Sweden (and bizarrely Japan). It received a colorful, futuristic music video with Robyn and a bunch of people dancing in front of abstract backgrounds (similar to "Put The Needle On It" by Dannii Minogue which came out not long after). It was re-recorded as a bonus track in 2008 for the expanded version of her self-titled.Interestingly, the song was released as "By Your Side" in Australia because of bush fires happening at the time. Also as far as I can tell, there were no plans to try and launch the song or album in North America. 2008 VersionParticipant RankingsGinger Spice 1 Ty 8 Juanca 9 beach1 10 Zeebz 14 Mirago 15 ★Disco★ 17 Pale Shelter 18 born 18 SHOOTER 20 Hefty Hanna 20 aerodynamite 24 bat1990 24 when the pawn... 29 Viewers: @mirza

I had to rewatch some of her music videos just now.
Her catalog is flawless. I'm going to accept the fact that different people may relate to different parts of it.

U Should Know Better and Fembot were good discoveries. Glad to see both in the top 20 and around where I placed them in my RD. Konichiwa Bitches (29), on the contrary, was an utter disappointment I guess I can see it being tongue in cheek, novelty, but I found it super annoying and almost stupid. Sorry. On the contrary, Keep This Fire Burning (9) was one of my best discoveries for this RD. I liked the remix, too, but I really loved the original, and was a clear top 10 for me. Very sad/surprised to see it leave ( Who's That Girl (12) was another very good discovery. I specially liked the percussion elements, and the overall vibe.
