Two #1 losses come with the next song, and both bring them closer to wiping out their Top 10s... :x

Oh, I forgot to mention on If You Asked Me To, the b-side of the single was co-written by Sheryl Crow, which is interesting considering Sheryl's first album didn't come out until late 1993.

Up next is a song from an album with multiple hits remaining in the Top 10, and the last remaining song that nobody ranked #1. You're all safe!

#7"A New Day Has Come"A New Day Has Come (2002)Points: 860 Standard Deviation: 10.1 Median: 12 Average: 12.0 Range: 44 ChartsCanada: #2 | Hot 100: #22 | CHR/Pop: #25 When Celine announced her "retirement" in late 1999, it was a huge deal. Coming off of two Diamond albums, a best-selling holiday album and a super successful Greatest Hits collection, she was going into hiding. Yet, just two years later, in February 2002, she was back with a new single and a new album. These days, we only wish our favs had that kind of turnaround. Yet, her brief hiatus was long enough that upon her return, nothing was really the same. Celine would never have a Hot 100 or Pop radio Top 10 again. For some reason, people moved on. And I guess it kind of shows here too as this is Celine's last remaining song post-hiatus. 2 #1 losses, 11 Top 10s and with toomuchboy losing his last Bottom 10, that leaves only johnm1120 with a Bottom 10 remaining. .indulgecountry 1 @walker9 1 Leo β 4 mamooshka 5 someguy 7 castleoblivion26 7 soulfulwings 8 Juanca 8 Glove Slap 9 bat1990 9 kmbgs 10 Kurt 12 JOJO SIWA DERANGEMENT SYNDROME 13 BackwoodsBarbie 14 KanenrΓ‘:ke 15 johnm1120 15 bboat11 17 Devil Marlena Nylund 17 God 19 @antigonerising 21 Az Paynter 23 Troublemaker 33 toomuchboy 45 6 Top 10s remaining: bboat115 Top 10s remaining: someguy | mamooshka | Juanca | kmbgs | Troublemaker | toomuchboy | Kurt4 Top 10s remaining: Leo β | castleoblivion26 | soulfulwings | BackwoodsBarbie | JOJO SIWA DERANGEMENT SYNDROME3 Top 10s remaining: Glove Slap | bat1990 | Devil Marlena Nylund | johnm11202 Top 10s remaining: KanenrΓ‘:ke | God | Az Paynter | .indulgecountry1 Top 10 remaining: @antigonerising

The top 6 are fairly well agreed upon as #7 was the last song with a standard deviation in the double digits. #6 is one of the remaining movie songs that was #1 across the board, including two rankdown #1s.

"All By Myself" is such an underrated gem. To this day, I get chills when I hear that flowing orchestral section followed by Celine's inexhaustible "ANYMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRE" that literally nobody else could ever hit with as much power and precision.

I feel like "My Heart Will Go On" is too obvious... Is there another movie song? I'll guess it's whatever the other one is.

#6"My Heart Will Go On"Let's Talk About Love (1997)Points: 881 Standard Deviation: 9.5 Median: 12 Average: 12.7 Range: 37 ChartsCanada: #1 | Hot 100: #1 | CHR/Pop: #1 The stats around My Heart Will Go on are insane when you really look at them. The song itself was a MOMENT. The film it came from was a MOMENT. While Titanic is no longer the highest grossing film of all time, the ones that have surpassed it didn't have the extended hype and excitement that followed Titanic throughout its entire expedition at the box office, at the awards, on the charts, etc. The song was a #1 Hot 100 hit, which at the time meant that it hit #1 based on sales - sales separate from the parent album(s) it came from. The soundtrack was certified 11x Platinum and Let's Talk About Love, certified Diamond. That means the song was sold at least 21 million times PLUS the individual singles sales, and that's just the US alone. It's been listed as one of the best selling singles of all time. It won the Oscar and Golden Globe for Original Song, Grammys for Record and Song of the Year. You might be sick of it now, 20 years later, but can we think of a song that has come out since that has matched the reach and status this song has? Congrats to bboat11, kmbgs and Kurt for having the remaining Top 5 all in their Top 10s. Prediction: 5. "The Power Of Love" 4. "Because You Loved Me" 3. "To Love You More" 2. "That's The Way It Is" 1. "It's All Coming Back To Me Now"
Personally I think "The Power Of Love" deserves to be a top 3 contender at the very least, but I'm prepared for it to get tanked now. The competition is just TOO strong! Literally any way this plays out will be perfect! I do think "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" deserves this the most though.

Devil Marlena Nylund , are you planning to finish tonight, or leave us with the top 5 for 3 or 4 months for a little bit?

I would have except it's midnight now and I need to stop staying up late on work nights. :( Imma try to finish this tomorrow though. I kind of want to start another rankdown that will get me through to next Spring at least.

I'm assuming #5 is The Power of Love, because why would I assume I could somehow make it to the top 4 with my one remaining top 10 song left?
Not that I dislike anything left by any means but I did terribly this rankdown.

Sad to see my #1 go, but glad it was followed by my lowest rank remaining. The Titanic song is overrated and cheesy. She's done better.

Oh, I forgot to mention on If You Asked Me To, the b-side of the single was co-written by Sheryl Crow, which is interesting considering Sheryl's first album didn't come out until late 1993. Sheryl originally recorded the song for her "debut" album which was never released, because both she and her record label were unhappy with it. So several of the songs were shopped to other artists and Sheryl went back to square one, eventually coming up with "Tuesday Night Music Club."

Imagine hearing it live. Right before the climax, the music goes silent. You could hear a pin drop as you await that money note.

While I prep the Top 5, let's learn how Celine Dion is actually Satan!

FACT: Celine Dion has been pictured during her career making signs associated with the occult such as the one eye pose, devil horns sign, 3 sixes hand sign.

"The Power of Love" is literally a perfect song. I detect zero flaws. This song alone is enough to cement Celine as one of the premier vocal goddesses of all time, regardless of the context of the rest of her career.
