I get the vibe that its gonna get prematurely knocked off the charts thanks to an album bomb True. I mean it happened to Rockstar, Havana, and New Rules. Cardi is releasing a deluxe version of her album so it might stay for a bit longer |

As someone noted on the Hot 100 thread, Love Lies starts at #7 on the recurrent chart, so it was probably very lucky to even get close to 52 weeks, if something like Meant to Be is actually above it.

Better Now is pretty much locked for 52 weeks since it's at position 39 and only needs 1 more week.
Tequila is at 50 weeks but it's at position 49 so I'm not too sure if it can hang on for 2 more weeks.
Girls Like You is at 47 weeks and it's at position 23 so I consider that a lock for 52 weeks too.

It could take a tsunami of album tracks to knock it out of the top 25, and therefore off the charts. And a reminder: the first two letters in tsunami are TS. |

I hope Post will win BBMA hot 100 song. Artist, maybe, but I think Drake has that one. Song? Girls Like You had a lock on that. Nothing else is even close. Especially since the covered period goes from about April 2018 to April 2019. It's based on chart performance, not taste. |

Yeah, but it's falling everywhere: Radio #18 (-2) Streaming #40 (-3) Digital / (#123 on iTunes) It feels like songs like GLY, Perfect and SOY (popular on AC/HAC radio + YouTube) don't lose points after 10+ months on the chart. That's really boring because if there isn't an album bomb these songs are gonna stay in the 20-25 range forever. |
