Radio hasn't been relevant to me since I got my first car with a CD player in 2004.

It takes me like 9 months after I update my iPod's library to return to radio.
So I get where they're coming from.

I have one radio station I like to listen to: KKXT (the AAA station in Dallas), which I've tuned into regularly since the start of the year. Other than that, I've had no use for terrestrial radio in years.

All new cars have an aux port, and everyone owns a phone now so why would anyone listen to radio when they can just play their own music off their phones?

Regardless of what people say, radio is still definitely VERY important for the record labels. It's one of the last strongholds that they really have for their outdated business model.
