What songs missed the top 10? The answer is somewhere to be found, if you squint, in the reveals for #20-11. -It's a going-out sale on bottom 10 clearings! Eight more people will not carry a bottom 10 into the top 10. -Four people will have their first place song taken from them. -All in all, there are 27 top 10s and 19 additional top 5s revealed in this set. -We will see *deep breath* the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 8th highest SDs, as well as the 9th lowest.

With #20, let's start gently. This song received two top 10s, five top 20s, and ten top half rankings overall. Three people did put this in their bottom 10 (two posters clearing it while doing so), but just one is a bottom 5, and these are the only bottom 15s. This song got to the top 20 in a snap, hit a tiny rough patch where it popped out of the top 25, then started serving consistency again.

This is a weird one for me. I really, REALLY like a song that samples this song, and yet, this one doesn't do all that much for me. This is my "likes bands that sounds like Springsteen more than Springsteen himself", isn't it?

#19 is the 4th highest SD. If, from that, you figured this is the last song where the bottom half ranks outnumber the rankings in the top half, you'd be right. This song was bottom 10 after 5 ballots, and it only reached the top 25 after 14. So, watch out--if you submitted past the halfway point, you're very likely one of the two 5s, two other top 10s, or three top 20s. However, the two bottom 20s, three bottom 10s, and one bottom 5 will be happy this song is no longer haunting the rankdown.

#18 was a fixture in users' top 25s--just five people didn't put it there--and if it weren't for one low bottom 5, the song would probably have one of the 10 lowest SDs. One top 5 and one top 10 provide some extra muscle to back up five top 20s. This song left the top half just once, around the midway point, and the movements resemble a very soft slope.

Another great song that I just couldn't rank higher, because this rankdown was ridiculously tough to rank. Urgh.

First 1 loss of the night comes at #17. In all, four posters lose a top 3. And yet more of this song's special sauce comes in the form of two top 15s. The next highest ranking, though, is 25--indeed, three people put it there--and the next highest after that is firmly in the bottom 20. Oh, and there are two bottom 10s and a bottom 5. Makes sense that this song has the 2nd highest SD. Watching #15's run was wild. I remember when it was in the bottom 10, and then the top 30, and then the bottom 15. Good times. Momentum just kept increasing from there.

I expect this to be my #3. This is around where I thought it would go out.
(I have another song in mind, but I really hope it's not that one.)

Let's go from the bottom up with #16. Two bottom 10s. Three more bottom 16s. That leaves us with eleven top half rankings. Four top 15s. Two top 10s. Finally, two top 5s. You can see why this song was in top 10 contention early on. Between the 8th and the 15th list, this was a top 15 staple.

I genuinely thought this would have a higher SD. Kate Bush's voice is not for everyone, especially not on this song. Even still, this song is a borderline masterpiece. Only "Running Up That Hill" is better for me.
Also, on a related note, I don't really care about the winner anymore.

#15 was tied with #16, and it's the highest SD. Are you ready? You had better be, because you might be one of the seven people losing a top 10, or even the three among those losing a top 3...or, worst case scenario, your 1. The three bonus top 20s won't be so hurt, I guess. But the next highest rank is almost bottom 20, and after that, bottom 13. And eventually, you'll get to the two bottom 10s (one of those is that person's last bottom 10) and two bottom 5s. The song started low, then got a boost to the top 15 which faded fast to a top 30. It proceeded to creep up until it broke through to the top 10 late.
