This was the update I was dreading, but I also wasn't expecting Dire Straits, of all of my top tens, to be my first top ten loss. I expected it to be Survivor, and I'm pleasantly surprised that lasted as long as it did.
But really, "Walk of Life" doesn't make the top half? That's silly.

Oh yea I forget this is the area in 80s rankdowns where everything goes to s**t and we have to slowly course-correct between now and the top 20 Also, I wanted to check because I had to know whom I didn't know was still holding their 100, because of this post There remain 5 members who have their No. 100 left but those 5 are spread between just two songs...
I think there may actually be six 100s still in? Unless I somehow missed mamooshka's or Az's going out through all my searching. In any case, I know one person shares my 100, so hopefully it's the song to have a third (or maybe even fourth?!?). |

I'm starting to feel the pain now as some songs I really like have been knocked out. I'm sad that "Walk of Life", "All I Need Is a Miracle", and "Burning Heart" couldn't quite make the top 50. All 3 are my first top 20 losses. I'm sure more of my favorites will be coming up soon. I'm not doing too horribly on the low end as my only bottom 30s left are my #80, #83, #86, and #87.

I expected my #100 to be the last of my bottom 10 to fall (and I sadly expected it to make the top half as well because of this song and band's popularity). Awful, awful song from an awful, awful band; I hope it's out soon.
Some songs (especially in the last set) that were robbed quite a bit, but I haven't lost anything in my top 20 yet, so that's nice.
