Awwww... I was really hoping for Original Sin :( I LOOOOVEEDDD that song from the first moment I heard it. It was in the runner spot of the first ranking I ever wrote back in August 1984 (in theory leaving the top spot). And it was one of my top songs of the year and the decade. The mysterious vibe throughout the song, the combination of sounds including the drums and percussion in the last minute, the bass, the keyboards, the brass, plus Michael's vocal journey and those background vocals. Perfect song!
Need You Tonight reached the runner-up spot in my chart. I liked the simplicity of it, and Michael's sexy vocals were everything. At the same time, they have much richer, exquisite songs that I couldn't put this in my top 5 of this RD. Still, a song outside INXS' top 5 is much stronger than the best songs of many, many artists.
Great RD, Party out of Bounds -and btw, so good to see another poster that appreciates one of B-52's best songs, well one of the best party songs ever! :) )
