Taylor Swift Extends Record For Most Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 Hits Among Women With 'Delicate'

The latest single from 'Reputation' rises 46-36, becoming her 56th top 40 entry.
Taylor Swift adds her record-extending 56th top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, as "Delicate" climbs from No. 46 to No. 36 (on the chart dated May 26).
Swift expands her lead over Rihanna, the runner-up among women with 50 top 40 Hot 100 entries. Madonna ranks third among women with 49. Among all acts, Elvis Presley reigns with 80 top 40 titles.
"Delicate" is the sixth top 40 hit from Swift's 2017 album Reputation, following the three-week No. 1 "Look What You Made Me Do," "…Ready for It?" (No. 4), "Gorgeous" (No. 13), "Call It What You Want" (No. 27) and "End Game," featuring Ed Sheeran and Future (No. 18).
Radio airplay is driving "Delicate" most heavily, as it the track climbs 24-20 on the Radio Songs chart, up 14 percent to 45.6 million all-format audience impressions in the week ending May 20, according to Nielsen Music.
Here is an updated look at the acts with the most top 40 Hot 100 hits, dating to the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception (about two years after Presley began hitting predecessor Billboard charts).

"Yikes" leads the way at No. 8, earning the MC his 16th top 10.
As Kanye West celebrates his eighth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated June 16), as Ye opens with 205,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music, all seven tracks from the set debut in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
"Yikes" debuts the highest on the Hot 100, at No. 8, earning West his 16th top 10 hit and tying him with Nicki Minaj for the sixth-most top 10s among rappers. Drake holds the record with 26, followed by JAY-Z (21), Lil Wayne (20), Ludacris (18) and Eminem (17). (Madonna leads all acts with 38 top 10s.)
West's "All Mine" debuts at No. 11 on the Hot 100, followed by "Ghost Town" (No. 16), "Wouldn't Leave" (No. 24), "Violent Crimes" (No. 27), "I Thought About Killing You" (No. 28) and "No Mistakes" (No. 36).
"All Mine" opens atop the Streaming Songs chart with 36.3 million U.S. streams in the week ending June 7, while "Yikes" starts at No. 3 (34.2 million) and "Ghost Town"enters at No. 8 (29.7 million).
With his seven debuts, West ups his total to 48 top 40 entries on the Hot 100, tying JAY-Z for 10th place among all artists in the chart's 59-year history:

Drake extends his record for the most top 40 hits in the Billboard Hot 100's history, as "Girls Need Love" with Summer Walker vaults 87-37, earning Drake his 95th top 40 hit.
After the release of its remix that added Drake, the song surges by 97 percent to 16.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending March 7, according to Nielsen Music, and debuts at No. 23 on the Streaming Songs chart.
Here's an updated look at the acts with the most top 40 Hot 100 hits. (Note that the start of Elvis Presley's career predated the Hot 100's Aug. 4, 1958, inception):

Swift's 23rd top 10: Swift scores her 23rd Hot 100 top 10, tying for the 12th-best total in the Hot 100's archives. Whitney Houston, Paul McCartney (solo and with Wings) and The Rolling Stones have also tallied 23. (Madonna leads with 38 top 10s, followed by The Beatles with 34 and Drake with 33.)
"Me!" also marks Swift's 57th top 40 Hot 100 hit, matching Elton John for fourth place, after Drake (95), Lil Wayne and Elvis Presley (81 each, with Presley's chart career having predated the Hot 100's 1958 inception).
