This RHCP'S song has always felt kind of bland to me. I better see this kind of love "Can't Stop" on the next rankdown?

First up tonight is an extra from Sum 41. This is the only song from the band to reach the top 40 on mainstream rock. EXTRA

This next one is my personal favorite of this year's extras. It likely would have been in my top 30 had it made the cut.

And finally...eww, thankfully this song is better than the one we're ranking in 2003 though that's not exactly saying much.

40. Die Dead Enough - MegadethMegadeth is fierce. 'nuff siad. 39. Rollover D.J. - JetThe fact that I'm the only one who puts Jet's songs in the top 10 is, very disturbing. 38. Broken Down - SevendustThe biggest surprise here is, that I didn't tank a Sevendust song. This one actually had some melody to its chorus. Add this one to the one with Daughtry, as a good Sevendust songs. 37. (Can't Get My) Head Around You - The OffspringThere were just too many great songs this year, that I had to keep this one out of the top 50, but it's still a favorite of mine. 36. Same Direction - HoobastankI mean its not bad, but I'm still the ,lowest tanker. 35. Wait - EarshotThis one didn't do too much for me. The chorus was ok. 34. Cold Hard Bitch - JetAt least all Three Jet songs made the top 40, but I just don't get any of you when it comes to ranking these bangers. 33. Million Miles - FuelLost three top 10s in less than an hour. This list is looking weaker and weaker by the second. This is one of my favorite songs by this band. I forget what songs, "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)' goes up against in 2000, but if the competition isn't that strong, it just may be my #1 song for that year? 32. Where Are We Runnin'? - Lenny KravitzFuck this rankdown sucks! can someone please stop @humanshazam from yelling out these incorrectly placed songs? I have a strong feeling he has ESP? 31. Simple Man - ShinedownKind of boring for shinedown. Even for an Active rankdown. That's all I have to say. 30. Wake Up (Make a Move) - LostprophetsGood one to scream along too. 29. Imagine - A Perfect CircleIf I never liked the original, why would I like a cover of this song? For me, one of the most overrated songs in history. Not this one, but The Beatles one. 28. Away from the Sun - 3 Doors DownA great Alternative Powerballad from 3 Doors Down. Desereved top 20 here. 27. American Idiot - Green DayI mean ,I'm not even American, and I love it. This would be my theme song. It's fierce, hardcore and sung by the best Alt band ever. If you somehow get offended by the lyrics, then I believe you are too squeamish for Green Day. Man ,my top 10 is hanging by a thread. These songs are appearing in the most ridiculous order yet. I can just see the bands that are gonna get top 10 action here, and I'm gonna need some serious therapy by the end of this game.

I don't wanna listen to that Limp Bizkit song... is it as gross as 'Eat You Alive'? It's actually a decent song. There isn't too much worse than "Eat You Alive" in music history, but then again I haven't listened to any Limp Bizkit albums in probably over a decade. and yes... boo you guys for the "American Idiot" ranking. Carry on.

EXRAS
We're All to Blame - Sum 41 Not a s stroing as classics like "Fat Lip", but the more it shows up on these rankdowns ,the more I like it.
This Time's for Real - Ill Nino I like the melody the songs tries hard to follow. Seriously, this is alright. Love the guitar breakdown. Sounds like it could chart in 2018.
Words Can't Explain - Tesla The fact that this is Tesla gives it default top 50 status, but I would have put this even higher that the song we ranked. I'm thinking a very near Top 20.
Breakdown - Instruction Wow! That....was not for me at all.
Look What You've Done - Jet I probably would have to sacrifice one more song to put this one in my top 10 too. This one held down the #4 slot for 6 weeks straight on my personal chart. This has a Beatles vibe to it.

I don't wanna listen to that Limp Bizkit song... is it as gross as ' Eat You Alive'? There goes my hope for you guys ranking that particular Limp Bizkit song high? Almost Over - Limp Bizkit Anyway, this wasn't awful. It's a like a better version of a Kid Rock song. Just kidding. This song sucked, but I did sort of dig on "Eat You Alive". Don't know why. I just did.

'Eat You Alive' is f**king foul, between the song and the video. Maaaaaaaajorly creepy and disgusting. I like LB's version of 'Behind Blue Eyes' (and even then it's more because of the song itself than LB) but that's basically it.

Fine with this performance. Didn't think this would be a song that had a lot of hate or extreme love.

New best performance for Staind, which I'm fine with. One of their most inoffensive songs, to be sure.
