Swift's "Cardigan" launches at No. 1 on the Hot 100, as all 16 songs on the standard edition of parent album Folklore debut on the chart, lifting her total from 97 to 113 career charted titles.
Here's an updated look at the women with the most Hot 100 appearances, dating to the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception.

Minaj had held the mark for the most Hot 100 entries among women all to herself since April 1, 2017, when she passed Franklin's sum of 73. (The two were tied the previous two weeks.) Before that, Franklin solely boasted the record for nearly 40 years, starting June 18, 1977 (when "Break It to Me Gently" debuted as her 54th entry, pushing her ahead of the prior record-holder among women, Connie Francis).
Swift has scored the fourth-most Hot 100 entries among all acts, while Minaj now ranks sixth. The leaders overall: Drake (224); Glee Cast (207); Lil Wayne (169); Swift (113); Future (111); and Minaj (110).
Now with 28 Hot 100 top 10s, as she adds three ("Cardigan," at No. 1; "The 1," at No. 4; and "Exile," featuring Bon Iver, at No. 6), Swift ties for the third-most top 10s among women and the sixth-most overall. The acts with the most top 10s: Drake (40); Madonna (38); The Beatles (34); Rihanna (31); Michael Jackson (30); Mariah Carey and Swift (28 each).

www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/lil-baby-12th-artist-100-billboard-hot-100-chart-hits-1235060808/Lil Baby Becomes 12th Artist to Earn 100 Billboard Hot 100 Chart Hits "Right On" and "In a Minute" launch at Nos. 13 and 14, upping his career total to 100 appearances. Lil Baby joins elite company on the Billboard Hot 100, as he becomes one of only 12 artists to have earned at least 100 career entries on the songs chart. He scores his 99th and 100th titles, as “Right On” and “In a Minute” debut at Nos. 13 and 14, respectively, on the Hot 100 dated April 23. Streaming drives the tracks’ arrivals, as they start with 18.1 million and 17.6 million official U.S. streams, respectively, in the week ending April 14, according to Luminate, formerly MRC Data. Here’s an updated look at the 12 acts that have earned triple-digit appearance totals on the Hot 100, which began with the list dated Aug. 4, 1958. (Elvis Presley is among them, even with his career having started prior to the Hot 100’s inception.) Total Billboard Hot 100 Entries 260, Drake 207, Glee Cast 180, Lil Wayne 166, Taylor Swift 135, Ye 132, Future 123, Nicki Minaj 109, Elvis Presley 107, Chris Brown 104, Jay-Z 103, Justin Bieber 100, Lil Baby Of Lil Baby’s 100 total entries, 35 have reached the top 40 and nine have hit the top 10. He’s placed as high as No. 2 with three songs: “Wants and Needs” and “Girls Want Girls” – both credited to Drake featuring Lil Baby – debuted and peaked at No. 2 last year, and his collab with Nicki Minaj “Do We Have a Problem?” debuted and peaked at No. 2 this February. Lil Baby (real name: Dominique Jones) first hit the Hot 100 dated Dec. 30, 2017, with “My Dawg,” which rose to No. 71. He followed with his first of four charted collaborations with Drake, “Yes Indeed,” which reached No. 6 in June 2018. Their other shared Hot 100 entry, beyond their three top 10s: “Never Recover,” with Gunna and featuring Drake, debuted and peaked at No. 15 in October 2018. Lil Baby’s most-frequent collaborator among his 100 Hot 100 hits is Lil Durk, as 22 titles include both rappers. Gunna is second, with 13 shared entries. Lil Baby has also released studio albums with each: Drip Harder, by Lil Baby and Gunna, reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in October 2018 and The Voice of the Heroes, by Lil Baby and Lil Durk, launched at No. 1 in June 2021. The latter became Lil Baby’s second No. 1 set, among five top 10s, after his own My Turn, in March 2020. Of the six other rappers with at least 100 Hot 100 hits, Lil Baby has collaborated with five: Drake, Future, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Ye (all except for Jay-Z). While it’s rare for artists to chart triple-digit entries on the Hot 100, it’s become a more regular occurrence since the chart’s inclusion of streaming, with acts regularly making first-week impacts with multiple cuts from Billboard 200-debuting albums. Prior to Lil Baby, Bieber most recently joined the club last July. Chris Brown, Future and Taylor Swift were welcomed in 2020, Jay-Z in 2019 and Minaj in 2018. (Notably, Lil Baby has also contributed uncredited vocals, with Rosalía, to a remix of Travis Scott’s 2019 No. 1 “Highest in the Room,” while his vocals, and The Weeknd’s, are part of Ye’s “Hurricane,” which reached No. 6 last September.) “Right On” and “In a Minute” concurrently debut at Nos. 5 and 6 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, respectively, upping Lil Baby’s career total on that ranking to 105 entries. (Drake leads with 279.) Lil Baby adds his 22nd and 23rd top 10s, two months after “Do We Have a Problem?,” with Minaj, premiered as his first No. 1. His latest hits also open at Nos. 3 and 4 on Streaming Songs. Lil Baby now has 17 career top five hits on the tally, the third-most in its history, after Drake (42) and Bieber (19).

CHART BEAT Every Artist With 100 or More Billboard Hot 100 Chart Hits Fifteen artists in the Hot 100's 65-year history have charted 100-plus entries.

08/23/2023Debuting a song on the Billboard Hot 100 is a highlight of any musician’s career. It’s Billboard’s premier songs chart, after all, and the stars often must align in order to stand with the best of the best. The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. In total, over 8,000 artists have landed a song on the survey, which launched on Aug. 4, 1958. Of those artists, only 15 have charted at least 100 total songs. Elvis Presley, whose career predates the Hot 100’s launch, became the first artist to tally 100 total hits. He scored his 100th (of an eventual 109 total) in May 1975 with “T-R-O-U-B-L-E.” He held the record for the most overall chart entries until 2011, when the Glee Cast surpassed him, and then nearly doubled his total — reaching 207 entries. That record stood until 2020, when Drake stormed past the TV troupe following his song “Oprah’s Bank Account” reaching the listing. Drake now leads all artists with a whopping 298 total entries on the chart in his career (through the Hot 100 dated Aug. 26, 2023). He’s one of just three artists to top 200 total songs, along with Taylor Swift (212) and the Glee Cast (207). Three artists have joined the 100-hits club in 2023 alone, so far. YoungBoy Never Broke Again achieved the milestone in May, and, fittingly, became the youngest artist to ever reach the feat, at age 23. Lil Uzi Vert became the 14th act to join in July, after releasing Pink Tape. Travis Scott then became the most-recent artist to gain entry on Aug. 12, thanks to the release of his new LP Utopia. As for who might be next in line to join the elite group, The Weeknd is currently at 96 Hot 100-charted songs, followed by Eminem (95), Young Thug (92), James Brown (91), Lil Durk (87), 21 Savage (85), Beyoncé (82), Juice WRLD (79) and Gunna (77). While it’s rare for artists to chart triple-digit entries on the Hot 100, it’s become a more regular occurrence since the ranking began including streaming figures in 2007. As such, certain artists have been able to chart a high number of songs on the Hot 100 in recent years after releasing high-profile albums. The model contrasts with prior decades, when acts generally promoted one single at a time in the physical-only marketplace and on radio. That shift in consumption helps explain why artists have been able to chart many songs over short spans in recent years. Here’s an updated look at every act in history to chart 100 or more songs on the Hot 100, as of the Aug. 26, 2023-dated chart. Drake Number of Hot 100 hits: 298. He tallied his 100th career entry in 2015. Taylor Swift Number of Hot 100 hits: 212. She scored her 100th entry in 2020 after releasing Folklore. She reached the 200 milestone in July 2023 after releasing Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). Glee Cast Number of Hot 100 hits: 207. The collective notched its 100th hit in 2010. Lil Wayne Number of Hot 100 hits: 185. He earned his 100th entry in 2012. Future Number of Hot 100 hits: 168. He reached 100 entries in 2020. Kanye West Number of Hot 100 hits: 141. He scored his 100th hit in 2019. Lil Baby Number of Hot 100 hits: 137. He joined the 100-hits club in 2022. Nicki Minaj Number of Hot 100 hits: 132. Minaj, the first woman to join the triple-digit club, and the only female rapper, notched her 100th entry in 2018. Chris Brown Number of Hot 100 hits: 114. He reached the mark in 2020. Travis Scott Number of Hot 100 hits: 111. He scored his 100th entry in 2023 after releasing his LP Utopia. Elvis Presley Number of Hot 100 hits: 109. He became the first act in the chart’s history to reach the milestone, in 1975. Lil Uzi Vert Number of Hot 100 hits: 107. Uzi joined the club in 2023 after releasing Pink Tape. Jay-Z Number of Hot 100 hits: 105. The legendary MC hit 100 entries in 2019. Justin Bieber Number of Hot 100 hits: 105. Bieber scored his 100th charting song in 2021. YoungBoy Never Broke Again Number of Hot 100 hits: 103. He tallied his 100th entry in 2023, and become the youngest act ever to join the club, at age 23.

10/16/2023 S Debuting a song on the Billboard Hot 100 is a highlight of any musician’s career. It’s Billboard’s premier songs chart, after all, and the stars often must align in order to stand with the best of the best.

In total, more than 8,000 artists have landed a song on the survey, which launched on Aug.
That record stood until 2020, when Drake stormed past the TV troupe when his track “Oprah’s Bank Account” reached the listing.
Drake now leads all artists with a whopping 320 total entries on the chart in his career (through the Hot 100 dated Oct. 21, 2023). He’s the only artist to chart at least 300 total songs in history. Only two other acts have charted at least 200: Taylor Swift (212) and the Glee Cast (207).
Travis Scott then became the most recent artist to gain entry (Aug. 12), thanks to the chart arrival of his LP Utopia.
As for who might be next in line to join the elite group, The Weeknd is currently at 97 Hot 100-charted songs, followed by Eminem (95), Young Thug (92), James Brown (91), 21 Savage (89), Lil Durk (88), Beyoncé (82), Juice WRLD (79) and Gunna (77).
While it’s rare for artists to chart triple-digit entries on the Hot 100, it has become a more regular occurrence since the ranking began including streaming figures in 2007.
Here’s an updated look at every act to chart 100 or more career hits on the Hot 100, as of the Oct. 21, 2023-dated chart.
Drake
Number of Hot 100 hits: 320. He tallied his 100th career entry in 2015 after releasing What a Time To Be Alive with Future, his 200th in 2019 after releasing Care Package, and his record-extending 300th in 2023 after dropping For All the Dogs.
Taylor Swift
Number of Hot 100 hits: 212. She scored her 100th entry in 2020 after releasing Folklore. She reached the 200-hits milestone in July 2023 after releasing Speak Now (Taylor’s Version).
Glee Cast
Number of Hot 100 hits: 207. The collective notched its 100th hit in 2010 after releasing its album Glee: The Music, Season Two: Volume 4. And it reached the 200-entries mark in 2012, when its renditions of Duran Duran’s “Hungry Like The Wolf” and Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” debuted in the same week.
Nicki Minaj Number of Hot 100 hits: 133. Minaj, the first woman to join the triple-digit club, and the only female rapper inducted, notched her 100th entry in 2018.
Chris Brown Number of Hot 100 hits: 115. He reached the 100-hits mark in 2020.
Travis Scott Number of Hot 100 hits: 111. He scored his 100th entry in 2023 after releasing his LP Utopia.
Elvis Presley Number of Hot 100 hits: 109. He became the first act in the chart’s history to reach the triple-digit milestone, in 1975.
Bieber scored his 100th charted song in 2021.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again Number of Hot 100 hits: 103. He tallied his 100th entry in 2023, and became the youngest act ever to join the club, at age 23.

Gary I don't know why Billboard made the same mistake across several articles but Drake has charted 321 Hot 100 entries. He had 299 with the debut of Slime You Out and all 23 songs off For All the Dogs charted this week — excluding Slime You Out, that makes his tally 321 Hot 100 entries. This is reflected correctly on his artist page. www.billboard.com/artist/drake/

In total, more than 8,000 artists have landed a song on the survey, which launched on Aug. That record stood until 2020, when Drake stormed past the TV troupe when his track “Oprah’s Bank Account” reached the listing. Drake now leads all artists with a whopping 321 total entries on the chart in his career (through the Hot 100 dated Nov. 11, 2023). He’s the only artist to chart at least 300 total songs in history. Only two other acts have charted at least 200: Taylor Swift (231) and the Glee cast (207). Travis Scott then became the most recent artist to gain entry (Aug. 12), thanks to the chart arrival of his LP Utopia. CHART BEAT The Beatles Make More Hot 100 History as ‘Now and Then’ Debuts in Top 10 The Beatles score their 35th top 10 – and first since 1996 – as the song starts at No. 7.
By Gary Trustwww.billboard.com/lists/the-beatles-now-and-then-hot-100-top-10-debut/most-hot-100-top-10s-among-groups/11/13/2023 + additional share options added The Beatles make a fab return to the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, as “Now and Then” debuts at No. 7. The song starts on the chart dated Nov. 18, 2023, as their landmark 35th top 10 – extending their record for the most among groups – and their first since 1996. “Now and Then” is billed as the final Beatles song, first recorded as a demo in 1977 by John Lennon and initially intended for the band’s three-edition Anthology series in the mid-‘90s before being shelved. The song was completed at last by surviving members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, among others, after new technology helped extract Lennon’s vocals from the original demo, while George Harrison guitar parts from the initial attempt to finish the track were also incorporated into the song. The song was made available for purchase as a download, on cassette and via six vinyl versions: 7” and 12” black vinyl; 7” clear vinyl; 7” blue/white marble vinyl; 7” light blue vinyl; and a Target-exclusive 12” red vinyl (as well as for pre-order on CD). “Now and Then” enters the Hot 100 with 11 million streams, 2.1 million in radio reach and 73,000 physical and digital singles sold combined in the United Stats Nov. 3-9, following its Nov. 2 release, according to data provider Luminate. A 12-minute film chronicling the cut premiered Nov. 2, while the song’s official video premiered Nov. 3. They now claim a span of top 10s of 59 years, nine months and three weeks, the longest excluding holiday fare. They surpass Elton John, who has logged a top 10 span of 51 years, seven months and three weeks, dating to his first frame in the bracket with “Your Song” (Jan. 23, 1971) and running through “Hold Me Closer,” with Britney Spears (Sept. 10, 2022). (Including holiday songs, the late Andy Williams holds the record for the longest span of an act appearing in the Hot 100’s top 10: 63 years, two months and three weeks, from his first week in the tier with “Lonely Street” in October 1959 through “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” during last year’s holiday season.) 21 Savage Charts 14 Songs From ‘American Dream’ on Hot 100, Reaches Historic Milestone He becomes the 16th artist to tally at least 100 career Hot 100 entries.
By Xander Zellner

21 Savage has a huge week on Billboard’s charts, thanks to his new album, American Dream.
The set debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (dated Jan. 27) with 133,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week (Jan. 12-18), according to Luminate, while all 14 chart-eligible songs from the LP enter the Billboard Hot 100, including two in the top 10.
The 14 debuts up 21 Savage’s total to 103 career Hot 100-charting hits. He becomes just the 16th artist to amass 100 entries or more over the chart’s 65-year history.
Here’s a look at all of 21 Savage’s entries (includes two previously-charting songs) on the latest Hot 100.

Thanks to his appearance on “Red Sky,” Tommy Newport scores his first entry on not just the Hot 100, but any Billboard chart. Mikky Ekko, also on the song, returns to the Hot 100 for the first time as a recording artist since his featured appearance on Rihanna’s “Stay” in 2013., Ekko co-wrote “Stay” – as well as Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” which holds at its No. 8 high a week after reaching the top 10.
With 103 total Hot 100 entries, 21 Savage passes The Weeknd (98), Eminem (96), Bad Bunny (93), Young Thug (93) and James Brown (91) for the 16th-most career hits.

Elvis is still the most impressive for hanging around! Nowadays 100 isn't even that special though for other people since album bombs can be done yearly and boom. Glee cast is still pretty impressive and of course Drake and Taylor.

The Weeknd Has Now Charted More Than 100 Songs on the Hot 100 Thanks to Future & Metro Boomin Collabs He's the 18th artist to reach triple digits.
By Xander Zellner
04/23/2024 The Weeknd has achieved numerous Billboard chart achievements, including seven No. 1 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and four No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. Now he marks his latest milestone by becoming the 18th artist to chart at least 100 career hits on the Hot 100.
The superstar ups his total from 99 to 101 Hot 100 entries, thanks to a pair of guest appearances on Future and Metro Boomin’s new Billboard 200 No. 1 album We Still Don’t Trust You: the set’s title track, which debuts at No. 22, and “All to Myself,” which starts at No. 67.
The Weeknd is the third artist to pass 100 Hot 100 hits in 2024, after 21 Savage, who reached the sum in January thanks to tracks from his album American Dream, and Beyoncé, who did so two weeks ago via songs from her LP Cowboy Carter.
Here’s a look at all 18 artists in the 100 Hot 100 hits club, as of the chart dated April 27, 2024.
Most Billboard Hot 100 Hits
329, Drake 232, Taylor Swift 207, Glee cast 199, Future 186, Lil Wayne 157, Kanye West 148, Nicki Minaj 139, Lil Baby 117, Chris Brown 115, Travis Scott 109, Elvis Presley (whose career start predated the Hot 100’s inception) 108, Lil Uzi Vert 107, Beyoncé 105, Justin Bieber 105, Jay-Z 104, YoungBoy Never Broke Again 103, 21 Savage 101, The Weeknd Of The Weeknd’s 101 career Hot 100 entries, seven have hit No. 1, 18 have reached the top 10 and 50 have peaked in the top 40.
Concurrently, Future ups his career total to 199 Hot 100 hits, thanks to 14 debuts from We Still Don’t Trust You. He surpasses Lil Wayne for the fourth-most appearances in history, after Drake, Taylor Swift and the Glee cast. Metro Boomin, who is also credited on all 14 debuts, pushes his count to 87.

Released July 12 on Shady/Aftermath/Interscope Records, the set debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 281,000 equivalent album units earned in the United States in its opening week, according to Luminate. It arrives with the biggest week (by units) for a rap album in 2024.

All 16 songs (excluding spoken-word skits) on the album concurrently land on the Billboard Hot 100, led by lead single “Houdini” at No. 10. Here’s a recap (all of which are debuts except where noted).

With 14 debuts, Eminem ups his career total from 98 to 112 Hot 100 entries. He becomes the 19th act to chart at least 100 songs dating to the survey’s 1958 inception and now has the 11th-most appearances.

Dem Jointz is likewise an established songwriter-producer who claims his first Hot 100 hit under an artist billing with “Road Rage.” Before this week, he logged seven songs on the chart as a credited producer: Eminem’s “Lock It Up,” featuring Anderson .Paak (No. 89 peak in 2020); Ye’s “Jail” (No. 10, 2021), “Believe What I Say” (No. 28, 2021), “Jail Pt. 2” (No. 63, 2021) and “New Again” (No. 68, 2021); Fivio Foreign’s “City of Gods,” featuring Ye and Alicia Keys (No. 46, 2022); and BTS’ “Run BTS” (No. 73, 2022). Dem Jointz has also collaborated with aespa, Dr. Dre, Janet Jackson, NCT 127 and Rihanna. Dem Jointz (real name: Dwayne Abernathy Jr.) shared the 2022 Grammy Award for best rap song for his contributions to Ye’s “Jail.”
Ez Mil also earns his first Hot 100 entry, thanks to his featured credit on “Head Honcho.” The rapper first reached Billboard’s charts in August 2023 with another Eminem collab: “Realest” reached No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The 25-year-old, from the Philippines, signed a joint venture deal with Shady Records, Aftermath and Interscope.
