This cannot officially be from Billboard, because the decade tracking period most probably hasn't ended yet. Is it something you compiled yourself?

Yeah I browsed that thread for a little bit, however the links provided to Billboard's site don't work anymore, they've made no official announcements, and ending the decade or any year on September 28, as indicated in the thread, would be exceeding early even for them. I'm just not convinced - nothing's official.

No. 10 and 9 artist category reveals:
1/7/2020 by Gary Trust
The No. 1 artist of the decade will be announced at the BBMAs on April 29.
Maroon 5 is the No. 9 Top Artist of the 2010s, as Billboard continues revealing the decade's top 10 acts, overall and in various genres, as well as in touring. As previously announced, Post Malone is the No. 10 Top Artist of the 2010s.
The full reveal will take place on the Billboard Music Awards, set to air live on NBC from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
On Nov. 14, Billboard published, among multiple decade-end charts, the overall Top Artists at Nos. 11 through 100 for the 2010s, as well as the Nos. 11 through 50 Top Artists on charts encompassing country, rock, R&B/hip-hop, Latin, Christian, gospel, dance/electronic and all-genre touring.
Artists at Nos. 10 through 6 for each recap are being revealed monthly leading up to the BBMAs, when No. 1 for each category will be announced from among five remaining finalists. (Next up, No. 8 in each category is scheduled to be revealed on Feb. 4.)
Maroon 5 tallied 12 top 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 in the 2010s, including three No. 1s, and four top 10 albums on the Billboard 200, including the No. 1 V in 2014. (See below for complete decade-end chart methodology.)
Meanwhile, the following acts rank at Nos. 10 and 9, respectively, for each decade-end category:
Country: 10, Taylor Swift, 9, Keith Urban Rock: 10, Foo Fighters, 9, Fall Out Boy R&B/hip-hop: 10, Trey Songz, 9, Beyoncé Latin: 10, Gerardo Ortiz, 9, Nicky Jam Christian: 10, Newsboys, 9, for King & Country Gospel: 10, William McDowell, 9, Fred Hammond Dance/electronic: 10, Marshmello, 9, Daft Punk Touring: 10, Roger Waters, 9, Paul McCartney
As previously reported, Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk!," featuring Bruno Mars, reigns as the Hot 100's No. 1 song of the 2010s and Adele's 21 rules as the Billboard 200's top decade-end album.
Plus, click on the following links for deeper dives into Billboard's decade-end charts covering country, rock, R&B/hip-hop, Latin, Christian, gospel, dance/electronic, social activity and all-genre touring.
How We Charted the Decade: Billboard's decade-end recaps encompass chart performance from Dec. 5, 2009, through Sept. 28, 2019 (except for those for the Social 50, which began on Dec. 11, 2010, and Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Streaming Songs, each of which launched on Jan. 26, 2013).
On decade-end Hot Songs and Top Albums recaps, titles are ranked based on an inverse point system, with weeks at No. 1 on weekly charts earning the greatest value and weeks at lower positions earning the least. Due to changes in chart methodology and title turnover rates over the decade, certain periods were weighted differently.
Top Artists recaps are ranked based on a formula blending performance, as outlined above, of all their chart entries. Specifically, the overall Top Artists category ranks the best-performing artists based on activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and the Billboard 200 albums tally, as well as social media data and touring revenue from Billboard Boxscore, while genre-focused Top Artists rankings blend acts' decade-spanning performance on each genre's main song and album charts (such as, for country, Hot Country Songs and Top Country Albums).
Billboard's decade-end touring charts are based on Billboard Boxscore data for performances between Dec. 1, 2009, and Sept. 30, 2019.

Of course it is Drake, to no surprise.
Glad it isn't like the previous decade where Usher did not get the honor, despite being the biggest artist on the Hot 100 and radio.

It’s a complete mess that they haven’t officially announced the remainder of the list yet. What is the point of holding this info back now, especially after the leak? If they weren’t gonna reveal the top 5 at the BBMAs (which is baffling to me since the show needed something special after being pushed back for so long anyway), they might as well just publish the top 6 (which are still TBA on the BB website) online and be done with it. Hardly anyone cares now, and nobody will care at next year’s show.

Exactly! 🥴 The hype is dead now, and nobody will give a single •F• next year about a 2010’s list in 2021. 💀 Anyway, I just want the Hot 100/BB200/Touring AOTD lists.

They didn't do it for Eminem when they returned in 2011 I doubt they will present a 10's Decade award in May of 2021. They will probably move on. Most decade awards and lists were already presented at the end of 2019. The AMA's did it for Taylor at the end of 2019 too.

You guys should just send them an email. They may have forgot to update the site The fact that they made such a big deal about it, teasing out the top 10 by revealing a name each month and had planned to reveal the top 5 at the 2020 BBMAs tells me they had something big planned and it all got scrapped once the pandemic hit. We all know what the top 10 is thanks to the list accidentally being made available for public viewing on their site November last year but I imagine they're saving that for when the person who wins can actually perform and be presented with the award and honored properly. One just has to wonder when the world will be back to the point where thousands of people can safely congregate in an arena again. If they're not gonna do any of that, they should just reveal the list on their site, write a congratulatory article or something and keep it moving. I'm also interested in seeing the decade-end chart for the multiple genres.

Hardly anyone cares now, and nobody will care at next year’s show. They shot themselves in the foot with the way they handled it. At the very least, they should have honored the artist of the decade with the award virtually and have them send in a video acknowledging it. By next year (if they still plan on making a spectacle of it), we'll be two years into a new decade and everyone would have moved on from giving a damn about an award honoring accomplishments from the previous decade (hardly anyone cares now).

If anything, they may update their site in a few weeks/months and let that be that and as thegreatdivine said, they need to do so soon and just be done with it. As you said, however, when they returned in 2011, Eminem; Usher etc. didn’t get their rightful awards; I believe they gave Beyonce the ‘Millennium’ award though. Oh well. 🥴

kierz7 they definitely handled everything poorly. From the list leaking on their site to how they tried to tease out the top 10, revealing a new name every month (which worked terribly because no one cared and it got no traffic online whatsoever) to completely disregarding any mention of the Artist of the Decade honor when they actually found a new, later date for the BBMAs and for now failing to update their site or fans on what's going on with that list. Just a total mess.

Is there a forum or thread that's tracking the artist of the decade for the 2020s?

Is there a forum or thread that's tracking the artist of the decade for the 2020s? As of now, there would literally be no way to track that especially so early in the decade. Moreover, there isn’t exactly a direct formula to use for such.💀 Perhaps by 2025-2027, we’ll have a better idea of who is contention for the title depending on said artists Hot 100 & BB200/Streaming & Radio success. Technically speaking, I suppose one could argue that Roddy Ricch/Post Malone are currently the ‘Hot 100 AOTD’ front runners given they have the most weeks at number one/weeks in the top ten thus far but that could easily change by next year or 2022 and so on and so forth.

^I guess, in theory, some sort of inverse point estimate based the Year-End Top Artist chart for each year could be made, although taking into account that this decade started before this year-end tracking year will make it a bit more trickier than normal.

Oh well, the final top 6 reveal has been delayed until next year's BBMAs. In the meantime, they have posted them for some genres and touring:
