She followed up with her third album On Down the Line which included the hits "I'm That Kind of Girl" and the title track. Patty's final album for MCA Records, 1991's Up Against My Heart, included the top ten hit "Hurt Me Bad (In A Real Good Way)." Patty released her critically acclaimed album When Fallen Angels Fly in late 1994 and would see all four of its singles reach the top 10. The album would go on to win the CMA Album of the Year in 1995 in which she was only the third woman in the history of the award to win. She followed that up with the successful The Trouble with the Truth which would also receive a nomination for CMA Album of the Year. In 1996, Patty would go on to win the CMA award for Female Vocalist of the Year and again receive a nomination in 1997 and 1998.
I'm happy to reveal that Pulse has voted for "You Can Feel Bad" as the song to highlight for Patty Loveless.

Oh man, "When You Say Nothing At All" is just pure magic. I like the original version a lot, but Alison Krauss took it and elevated it even more.

Forgot to mention this, but had I participated in the '97 Country rankdown, OWT would've been my #1. I missed out on the '97 rankdown as well and if there's one rankdown we could go bring back again at a later time it would be this one! I'm not sure what I would've ranked #1 but I'm pretty sure it would've been the eventual winner "Carrying Your Love With Me." "One Way Ticket" likely would've been somewhere in my top 5 for sure.
