I need Adele to release soon to finally end all this rap s**tty era. Till then, you'll be stuck with Lauren Daigle. "You Say" (which is currently #2 on iTunes for no reason), is the closest you'll get on the Hot 100 at the moment.

Divide era: 592 days later, Perfect still in the top 20. This era is really impressive with only two singles. If Perfect manages to chart in the Hot 100 in two weeks, that'd be 2 songs from Divide to beat the 52 week recurrent rule.

^Yeah. I'd hate it if it became the latest song that I like this year to peak at #11. There have been quite a few of them.

Given that other than Shape of You, Uptown Funk! has been the only other song to do so, if I'm not mistaken.

I mean 25 only had 2 songs reach top 10. It's not like that album's huge success was with the singles / she had 5+ top 10s. She won't be changing much on Hot 100 with her return. If her next album is streaming upon release, I feel like a top-heavy album bomb is very possible. You? she could drop an album Friday night and get Travis numbers at worst

With Eminem's feature on Nicki's Majesty this week, how many total appearances does he have on the Hot 100?

That would be the first album? Right? Yeah. First album and artist with 2. Given that other than Shape of You, Uptown Funk! has been the only other song to do so, if I'm not mistaken. Since the rule change, sure, but before the rule change, several others have done it. Radioactive, Sail, I'm Yours, How Do I Live, Party Rock Anthem, Counting Stars, Foolish Games, Before He Cheats, You and Me, Ho Hey, etc. And for what it's worth, Believer and Thunder, both from Evolve, managed 52 weeks. Yes that's not the magical 53 number needed for this specific record, but it's still rather impressive, and I believe the first ever album to notch two year long charting songs.

I hope Love Lies can crack the top 10, so close Love Lies better make Top 10. Some of the great songs this year are blocked on Top 10, and I hope Love Lies won't be a part of it.

Although I don't know for sure, it's probably Apeshit looking at Simm's predictions.

It's interesting with Delicate's longevity, it might actually end up gaining more points to be a bigger hit than LWYMMD. I wonder if that's happened before, if an artist has had a non-top ten hit ending up being bigger than one of their #1 hits, let alone from the same album?

If her next album is streaming upon release, I feel like a top-heavy album bomb is very possible. You? She's really the one artist you have no clue how to predict. Such an anomaly and then the climate is changing drastically on top of that. I don't think she'd perform similar to Scorpion, or even Beerbongs/DAMN/etc on streaming. Hello did great on streaming, but Pop songs in general still ruled the majority of streaming then. Not saying she wouldn't do well on streaming, but I don't think she'd transition to the similar level of her sales power.

Actually, the first one would be Night Visions which had Radioactive and Demons as songs meeting the mentioned milestone.

I imagine that happened with Redbone and This is America, although they aren't on the same album. Yeah, TIA really seems to have fizzled out pretty quickly, is it even still on this week? If not, it would only have had 14 weeks, which even pre-soundscan would be on the low-end of #1 longevity. And it was so huge right out of the gate with its video and everything, seemed like it was gonna be a long-lasting cultural phenomenon. Speaking of other very short-lived #1's, I just realized Fantasia meets this statistic, as her American Idol coronation song, I Believe, only spent 10 weeks on the chart and didn't even make the year-end Hot 100, while another song that was on her debut album, Truth Is, only peaked at #21 but was #73 year-end.
