With that, it comes down to Jo Dee versus the Dixie Chicks!!!!! Two incredible songs, by two even more incredible artists... One of them will finally have a chance to finish at #1, and the other will experience the ultimate shame of continuing to be stuck at #2... So, how do you think this should play out??!

Rooting for "Bye, Bye" to finally win something! What an iconic jam of a song. <3
But the Dixie Chicks song is sublime as well, so either way this is going to end on a great note.

YES!!!!
So happy that "Bye, Bye" was FINALLY able to win, it just needed "I'm Alright" to not be a part of the rankdown lol

You guys, I can't even begin to express how incredibly thrilled I am that "Bye Bye" finally won a rankdown After losing three rankdowns to the same song, it just feels incredibly fitting that it finally had the opportunity to run through victory lane Thank you to everybody who participated, and helped carry such an incredible song all the way to the top!

Lol @ d3vin44 only having Sara at #7 when he was trying to shade me for *only* having Sara as my #2 for the 2003 rankdown. Also, I correctly guessed 4 of the 5 songs that went out in the bottom half of the top 10, just not all in the right order. <3 01. Bye Bye 02. Before He Cheats 03. Cowboy Take Me Away 04. Merry Go 'Round 05. Mama's Broken Heart 06. Suds in the Bucket07. The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia 08. Settle for a Slowdown 09. Whatever You Say 10. You Can Feel BadGonna stick with my same Top 4 prediction + Reba moves up to #5. You’re comparing her most OVERPLAYED, meh song to her most underrated, SPECTACULAR song. Also this is a rankdown of near winners and 7 was honestly the best I could do. Don’t get me wrong, love Suds when it was current but it has not aged as well as other Sara songs, likely due to overplay by both myself and radio.

Lmao this is quite possibly the weirdest over-exaggeration I have ever seen! This is like taking two pieces from the same pizza, and trying to say that one is the worst pizza you've ever eaten, and the other one is the best

Well "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" didn't even come in second place in a year-end rankdown like "Suds in the Bucket" did so...

d3vin44 I will say I definitely agree with you about Suds' overplay being a detriment... I personally never know how to rank it, because I am more tired of it than I am a lot of her other big hits. I'm totally fine seeing it miss the top 5 in this rankdown. Still, to claim that "Backseat" is her most underrated and spectacular song? This is a woman whose entire career is based on underrated and spectacular songs!

Backseat is her best single in my book. Yes, many songs of hers are underrated, but Backseat takes the cake for me. And no, Suds is not the worst slice of pizza! I just don’t think it necessarily deserved a #1 rank in this rankdown. Y’all should try to catch Sara performing Backseat with an orchestra. Your world will be forever changed like mine. Just sayin...
Also, just so we are clear, I criticized indulge prior to knowing where he ranked Backseat in the 2003 rankdown. All I knew was it wasn’t his #1.

As a reminder, "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" and "Saints & Angels" finished at #5 and #6 in the Sara Evans rankdown with only her 4 major #1 smashes ahead of them, so I wouldn't call either of those underrated. They literally came out ahead of much bigger hits. If that rankdown taught me anything, it's that both of them are far from being underrated. :kii:

Ok so when does the #3s rankdown start?? 😂😂😂 But I will do a Part 2 to both "Best of the Best" and "Revenge of the Best" as soon as we have 50 more songs for each. Right now they're both halfway there!
