I'm just about ready to hit 'send' on my list. My top 10 is weird lmao it's got a few rock songs (the heavier ones too lol) then some dance songs, and a couple of pop songs. Also my #2 is country (as is my #12, but fair warning a few country songs got some tankings from me as well).

Before I tag again (please stop me), I'd thought I'd take a page from the Rock Rankdowns and give an update as to what is happening.

Here's the current state of the rankdown following entries by Sambalada Doc Indie Party Rock and Az Paynter :

Presently, 4 songs have been in the top ten for all three lists.  Also, 4 songs have been in the bottom ten for all three lists.  Two songs have been at the top spot so far; the same number have ended up at the bottom.

The top 9 songs are over 150 points right now.  41 songs have at least 100 points presently.  62 songs have crossed the 50 point barrier.  Every song has scored at least 20 points so far.

The current number one song has no number ones right now.  It is ahead of the second ranked song by 1 POINT.  11 points separate the top 5 from each other.  The song in 10th place is 38 points down.

The current song ranked at #70 does have one person who ranked it at the bottom.  It is 11 points behind the song ranked at #69 and is 36 points behind the song at #61. 

The three songs that have received number one rankings are at #3, #8, and #27 currently.  The three songs that have received number 70 rankings are at #30, #43, and #70.

The other song to spend time at #1 is at #3 right now.  The other song to spend time at #70 is at #30.

But are there ties (you know, not the kind you wear around the neck, but the kind that end up sometimes in rankdowns and occasionally in various games)?  You betcha.

But can I ring the alarm?

Afraid not.  I picked the song and everything

We do have two way ties at 11, 15, 18, 20, 25, 32, 34, 45, 48, and 58 as well as a three way tie at 63.

Hopefully, I get to do one more of these before the reveals!

I think I opened the ARIA assortment for submissions in August of last year and I had 10 by December. If you only have 3 now (not including yourself) then people have gotten even worse amazingly.

I can give you more than a week. 

The new deadline is February 2 at 7 PM CDT.

If you are close to being finished at the deadline and perhaps need a bit more time, I could be flexible in waiting.

If you're done before the new deadline, go ahead and submit. .The more entries I have, the more likely we can get this show on the road.

I'm doing the spreadsheet myself (Leo gave me some help in the beginning).
I did both the Youtube playlist and the Spotify one.
Even though I'm hosting (and will participate), I'm not going to judge.
Yes, there are urban, country, pop, and rock songs here. That won't change whether I do this one or future ones (although future lists will be smaller).
I'd like at least four more entries to ensure fairness for all the songs. Obviously, if I had more than 8, that would be cool.
