Just saying. This is Drake’s year. Usher picked up his last 2004#1 with a “bonus” single released as a special edition add on to Confessions. When you are this hot, sometimes it doesn’t matter what is released.

When you are this hot, sometimes it doesn’t matter what is released. But we will see I get what you mean. Drake's performance on the charts this year has been nothing short of mind-boggling. I know why I said he'll probably not score another #1 this year. In Drake's mind right now, as far as he's concerned, the Scorpion era is over. He's probably working on a new project right now, planning a release for next year or something. He always abandons his current project once he's done releasing singles off it. He's released 6 songs already as singles off this album and I doubt he'll be releasing more. Any new music we get from him this year will be him making guest appearances on other people's songs and I don't know that his fans will support those songs well enough to hit #1, but we'll see like you said. I just doubt it. I think he's written off this year as a massive success and is getting ready to repeat it again next year if he can. |
