You know, Maroon 5 actually has some great live tunes in their collection. Their stuff from Songs About Jane and It Won't Be Soon Before Long is incredible.
Yes, they'll likely perform a bunch of their newer hits post-Jagger, but if they perform This Love or She Will Be Loved or Sunday Morning or Makes Me Wonder or Wake Up Call. It'll make it all worth it.

Like I said, it’s coming from sources. Did she say it straight from her mouth? I missed that. What difference does it make? For what your basing it off of, yes. A “source” can be her maid. If it can straight from her mouth it would make a bigger difference. Especially for what HE is standing for. So yea. It does make a difference. The guy isn’t even employed right now. To have people turn down the half time show for him and his cause would create a difference. I think it’s more that she doesn’t have anything to promote and it’s a wasted opportunity. |

It was reported by multiple news sources, whether it was Rihanna being directly quoted or a video of her saying the words or someone in her circle saying she said no because of this, That appears to be what happened. To me makes no difference whether it was someone who spoke to the press on her behalf or she did it directly herself makes no difference to me.
If you need a video of her saying those words as such to believe, that is fine. Consider this though, the story has been out for a month and Rihanna has not come forward with a retraction

Pulse goes mad, with moderators banning people even mentioning Maroon 5. Members begin ritualistic stream parties to boost her song to #1 as they foam at the mouth. The rituals cause a tilt in the earth's axis causing a global freeze and we are thrust into the next ice age. At least that is how I picture some of the stans here. |

Not sure what the big deal is anyway

TBH the best thing that could come out of a M5 show is a Cardi appearance. Kind of bummed that she ain't going, at least right now. Although I of course understand why.
