Billboard Top 10 Flashback: 04 03 1-800-273-8255 - Logic feat. Alessia Cara & Khalid It's crazy how forgotten this song is, it peaked fast but dropped like a rock It didn't peak fast at all. It was on TTH on Spotify months before it even took off. It lingered on Rap Caviar for an insane amount of time. It didn't even take off until it was performed on the VMAs four months after its release. It spent 42 weeks on the Hot 100 and had its position peak on its 20th week. It took 20 weeks to peak and 22 to fall off. Over a year after the VMAs performance, it's still #42 on the pop recurrent airplay chart and still inside the top 200 on Spotify. Even with the Lil Wayne album bomb, it's #178 on the most recent Spotify chart for the US. His own album release definitely is aiding it currently, but even before his album dropped it was still charting. In fact, it has yet to leave the chart since it actually released in April of last year. It was also in the global chart as recent as August of this year. So it didn't peak fast at all, didn't drop like a rock, nor is it forgotten.

Indeed. The song is definitely forgotten. It dropped off fast. No. Look one post above yours. it charted for a while in the lower regions of the chart, zoomed up to its peak, then collapsed down again. the weeks charted is deceiving.

No. Look one post above yours. it charted for a while in the lower regions of the chart, zoomed up to its peak, then collapsed down again. the weeks charted is deceiving. You clearly didn't read the whole post if that's the only thing you got from it. I'm also not sure how taking 22 weeks to fall from a peak to recurrence is "collapsing." It wasn't "This Is America" or "Look What You Made Me Do." Also, the main argument was that it was forgotten when clearly it isn't. Forgotten songs don't stick around a year after they blow up.

1-800's run:
61-47*-64-63-62-65-68-68-64-64-61-55-57-52-50-37-29-9^-5-3-4-4-4-3-3-3-4-6-8-13-14-19-22-34-33-44-45-46-33**-40-45
*Album release. ^VMAs performance. **Grammys performance.
Even if we ignore the weeks where it lingered before taking off with the mainstream audience, (and completely ignore where it was obviously doing so before the VMAs) it spent 24 weeks post-VMAs on the chart, hitting its position peak initially in its third week. That's pretty damn average for a song these days that isn't an instant number one or one that takes ages for radio to let go of it. No collapsing that I can see. And in no way, shape, or form, is it forgotten. Maybe by you personally, but that's completely different than being a "forgotten hit."

Kanye's career is over for good imo. Yep... Can someone tell me where I Love It is on the Hot 100 right now? It’s like he wishes his career over, he tweets about the 13th Amendment, basically being racist towards himself? Like it makes no sense especially after Ye flopped in June.

Like it makes no sense especially after Ye flopped in June. But those things seem to not damage his career at all besides upsetting people for a day or two, then moving on. Ye did not flop. It went #1 and has done over 500k units. It had two singles that were moderate hits on their respective formats as well. I Love It is currently one of the biggest songs in the country as well and might be included on his new album. His career is not over.

at this point I don't believe even eating babies would damage Kanye's career. people have just come to expect shit like this from him on regular basis and most even find this entertaining

Nice to see "Youngblood" reach #1 on pop radio today. I hope it can still go a bit higher on the Billboard Hot 100, too. It's by far their best song, IMO.

Shocked with the predictions of Simm for Happier (the video did a great boost to it), soon it will be entering top 10. I can say I'm really surprised by the performance of the song. Although I love it and also loved to see Bastille getting another hit, I really wasn't expecting that the song would become so strong.
