I canβt at Girls like you blocking all these songs π It makes me mad to see "Girls Like You" blocking them all! Diversity on the charts is better. "Lucid Dreams", "Mona Lisa", "Zeze", and "Sicko Mode" could have all gone to number one! Number ones again for Juice WRLD, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black, Travis Scott, and Offset, but they must settle for number two.

More number ones would mean thereβs a better chance that everyone would have at least one song they liked that was leading sometime in the season though. These low point totals and yet one songβs continued dominance despite close margins makes it all the more frustrating, especially when a lot of people consider said long-runner bad.

GLY blocking all these songs is giving me the final 4 weeks of IMF's stay at #1 vibes, lol.
I'll never not be upset at Drake not getting credited on Sicko Mode when he's literally the reason the song is so popular. His part of the song is the most popular part of the song and he has vocals on over HALF of the song's runtime. It's just ridiculous.
Nice peaks for Taki Taki and Without Me. They should both easily enter the top 10 next week.

Drake, across all appearances, now sports five #2 hits on the hot 100
Bedrock and sicko mode are uncredited
Honestly, iβd have been pretty mad it sicko mode went #1 without drake credited

Also with all these debuts at the top of the charts, it is harder for songs to rise into the top ten. Last week, "Trip" by Ella Mai could've gone top ten but with the debuts of "Zeze" and "Mia", it settled at eleven. A while ago, BTS's "Fake Love" blocked "FRIENDS" by Marshmello and Anne-Marie. This week, "Taki Taki" could've gone top ten without the release of "Sunflower". Just the changing times.

drake, with 49 weeks at #1, has blocked only two songs with #1s as a lead artist. one of them is his own
girls like you, with 5 weeks at #1, has blocked four songs from #1

Is there any chance for Sicko Mode to be #1 next week?

Because if there's one thing that would increase diversity on the 2018 singles charts, it would be a hip-hop track at #1. ;)

We already had like 30 weeks without a Pop song on top of the charts. I can't

I hope 'Girls Like You' blocks everyone until 'Without Me' grows strong enough to claim #1 spot.
Shame 'Sunflower' didn't debut a bit higher since debut week will most likely be its peak, but still solid debut.

The first song to block 4 songs from number 1 since We Belong Together, unless Sicko and Lucid do end up being 1 later.

This forum has weeks and weeks of Girls Like You is bad and we need to bring back the rap
(recall, Girls Like You ended a record streak at #1 for rap)
However, the current 'first lady' of the rap world is featured on the song

Happier is coming for that #1! Rooting for 'Without Me', but sadly this is the most likely scenario.

Despite the fact that I absolutely despise Girls Like You, I can't deny how impressive it is that it has managed to block four songs from taking its place with only six weeks at #1 and by only a small margin. I mean, I can kinda respect that.

Still hoping for Natural to sneak in the top 10 the week the album releases. I doubt it can sneak inside top 10. Should get a lot of streams and sales to make up the radio struggle/losses is getting now.

A couple of those #2's were the biggest singles from streaming-heavy albums during release week - no chance of sticking around
