I want to love this album so much, but I just don't. I have so many memories of "Loverboy" in the summer of 2001 and being obsessed with it, but I didn't get the full album until years later. I love "Didn't Mean to Turn You On" and "All My Life." "Never Too Far" is one of her best ballads, and "Twister" is beautifully heartbreaking. But the rap collaborations really bring this album down. I can't remember the last time I've listened to "If We," "Don't Stop," or "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life." "Lead the Way" and "Reflections" also don't do it for me, she has way better ballads.
With all that said, I'm disappointed that she doesn't acknowledge this as a full fledged studio album. I thought after the #JusticeForGlitter hashtag and her now owning the rights might've changed that, but then it was completely ignored in the MC30 campaign. Which really sucks because I would love the "Loverboy" remixes on streaming.

I Loved "Glitter" when it was released. When I first heard "Loverboy" on the radio or saw the video before the album was released it was always the "rap" version. At first I thought the rap intro was to long but I got over it and ended up loving it. "Never To Far" was/is amazing. It's a favorite of mine. At the time I read it got good feedback from some radio programmers and it did well on TRL so I thought it was going to smash... Two that I thought could have used edits but I loved were "Didn't Mean To Turn You On and All My Life". I was obsessed with "Didn't Mean To Turn You On" for awhile. "Reflections" was instant and I grew to love "Lead The Way". It took awhile to get into but I didn't mind "Don't Stop". Well the bridge was Amazing! "Last Night A Dj Saved My Life" was ok. I liked it but always thought it could have been better. The live VH1 performance got me into it more at the time. I don't hate anything on "Glitter" but, I think some songs could have been edited or toned down a little.
