I kinda like "Without Me" but it can't go #1 and outpeak "Cry Me a River", take Halsey back to the kitchen. What? "Without Me" samples "Cry Me a River." It's also vastly superior, so I'm all for it outpeaking "Whine Me a Creek," but that's why their chart runs would be compared. |

6IX9INE denied bail after offering his entire bank account balance ($1.7 Million) + surrendering his passport. Looks like that’s the end of his career.
On a more chart related note, do y’all think the current situation will generate more traction the the album? Could FEFE re-enter the Top 10, and potentially the songs with Kanye? This is all assuming the album actually comes out (though I don’t see many reasons why it won’t)

I heard rumors that the Thank U, Next video will be Mean Girls themed. She’s incorporating Mean Girls, Legally Blonde and 13 Going on 30 into the video. There’s also supposed to be a lot of celebrity cameos in it. Hopefully it goes viral and blocks W*thout Me for good. |

The Mariah comparisons don’t even apply anymore...They only ever really made sense after Ariana’s first album. She fully established herself as a pop star with the My Everything era, whereas Mariah is full on R&B. Are you guys really suggesting that Mariah Carey would have ever put out a song like NTLTC? Problem? Break Free? breathin? Ariana doesn’t even do any whistle tones anymore. It’s tired at this point. |

Delicate back in the Top 20. It's #1 at AC radio this week. I find it weird that just because "Delicate" went recurrent, Billboard doesn't allow it to chart on Radio Songs, when it's #1 on AC Radio & likely still top 15 on airplay |

Just a small technicality but it doesn't sample it, it "interpolates" it - I was listening to "Without Me" trying to hear the "Cry Me a River" rumoured sample until I realized she just modified a lyric from him "You don't have to say what you did, I already know, I had to go and find out from them" |

TUN is clearly looking like a 6-7 week #1 at this point if not more. The video will probably help streams and sales a lot and radio is catching up really fast. And the album is coming late this year which will boost numbers even further.
I hope Halsey can snatch a week at #1 though because Without Me is fire.

I believe thank u, next will spend 6-8 weeks at #1. I reckon they’ll be non consecutive if that’s the case. My money’s on Happier or Without Me (ugh) dethroning it in its 4th week, but once the video comes out it’ll be back on top. |

Especially since she's become more famous after Closer, she's always referred to herself as a "woman", whilst before then in the Tumblr days she kept going on about how she rejects the gender binary and all that. And if you mean gender-fluid as in she switches between male and female on a daily basis, well, I've never seen her identify as a male before. Personally, I think when she was more of an "underground" artist she pretended to be non-binary because that made her more popular on Tumblr, and then after she became more famous she pretends to be a woman because she knows she'll be ridiculed if she claims to be an axigender or something. If her gender really does change day-by-day, why hasn't she said in any interviews recently that "I identify as a female today, but I might identify as something else tomorrow" or "In 2014 I identified as non-binary, but since 2016 I've identified as a woman, and who knows what I'll identify as in the future"? Because she'll be ridiculed by the wider public if she does that, and she knows it. |

All this talk about Halsey being nonbinary and I gotta ask velaxti where he got that from. I tried searching about her gender on Google and I can't find where she says that she's nonbinary. All Google shows me are stuff about her bisexuality.
