Wait, "Babe" was still in this?! Well, damn, I had one more bottom ten in than I thought. Okay, now my #98 is the last bottom ten standing.

"Babe" was the only one I loved from tonight's reveals. That's an epic ballad.

I regret not being able to participate in this rankdown, but my brand-new computer got stuck in a "Preparing Automatic Repair" loop that I couldn't get it out of, so I had to reinstall Windows, and then I had to troubleshoot my internet connection. Basically, I was without a functional computer for a week, and without the internet for two weeks. At least the 2003 rankdown went dormant long enough for me to submit my list for it, albeit two weeks late.

BTW, I never let the laptop do anything automatic. Not even start up malware software. I turn them on myself.

We lost some good ones today, but holy hell, am I glad to be relieved of the "Pina Colada" burden. I have never liked that song. I'm also glad that the Stones didn't just make the top 50 because "Stones". They have done way, WAY better.
Biggest shock of the RD so far has to be MJ missing the top half, right? I mean, it's "She's Out of My Life", but still.

Not a fan of Pina Colada either, but ... Attachment Deleted

As they should be. :sip2:
Also happy my #1 is still in this, I'm wondering how far it can go (I wasn't expecting it to still be around considering where it came from).

Most of these deserve more love. #60. Sexy Eyes - Dr. HookI'm not sure but I think my dad was a big Dr. Hook fan, cuz I remember their hits like it was yesterday. Smooth Disco. Much like some of Bee Gee's hits. #59. Tired Of Toein' The Line - Rocky BurnetteThere is a certain corny but very entertaining aspect to this song. Deserved better. Although this is a good slot among my personal top 100 of 1980. #57. This Is It - Kenny LogginsThis kinda cruises over from 1979. My favorite Kenny Loggin's ballad .I still prefer to rank the much more fun sounding "I'm Alright" from Caddyshack soundtrack. #56 She's Out Of My Life - Michael JacksonI do much better with Michael later on in the rank down. I would have gladly traded this borefest for the uptempo "Workin' Day N' Night"#55. Escape (The Piña Colada Song) - Rupert HolmesSeriously? Love this one. You all can't appreciate fun playful lyrics. I mean it even has a happy twist ending. #54. Coming Up - Paul McCartneyThis didn't even make my top 100, but I still like it. #52. Emotional Rescue - The Rolling StonesThis is such an awesome song. Mick Jagger delivers 5 stars for his vocal performance here. #51. Hurt So Bad - Linda RonstadtThis one is alright. I'm just glad the fast rocker is still in the mix
