There's been enough country songs in recent games that I've actually enjoyed so I'm giving this a go. Maybe present-day country is moving in a direction that I find more palatable; at least enough to make me more open to the genre.
Not a definite yes though; if I don't like enough of the list I'mma keep out of it to not f**k with things.

PROOF! In Boat's defense, he's not a Kacey hater per se and I doubt he has any of her songs bottom 10, but I also doubt he has any of her songs top 30. He's always been more in the camp of "she's alright, but I don't get the hype" based on my interactions with him. So he isn't public enemy #1 here, but we can all still give him dirty looks when his ranks are revealed... I treat Kacey just like I treat every other artist. Other people treat her like she is Jesus Christ's Holy Father. Which is basically enough to make me a "hater" in the eyes of her delusional fan base, if we're being totally honest...

I am all aboard for 'High Horse' domination, but think it would be a bit of a bummer if another of her songs won. I expect three to make the Top 10 and Butterflies to land Top 20, though.

My internet is down for whatever reason, so I can’t do a big tag list... We are supposed to get a hell of a snowstorm tomorrow too, so hopefully it starts working again BEFORE the entire west side of Washington State shuts down for a week... ⚰️

I'll try to get something together tonight, although I'd like to know when exactly I need to have this in by. Technically you have either until midnight tonight (Pacific Time), or until I finish entering lists. Whichever comes later! (In other words, if I'm still entering lists in the morning, I'll still take more lists. But if I am able to finish tonight, I will officially close it at midnight.) So I would shoot for midnight if I were you! Although I do have about a dozen lists to enter still, so it is very likely to bleed into the morning depending on how much of an influx comes in the next few hours. |

Also, I should just say, so far the results are shaping up to be very interesting!!! With 15 more lists literally anything could still happen, but so far we have a consistent #1 contender with a fierce battle happening beneath it for the rest of the top 10. Our most consistent #2 contender has been tanked a few times and is now struggling to stay in the top 20. Our last-place contender has mostly been switching between 2-3 different songs, but it looks like one of them is starting to run away with it. And so far, there are SEVERAL songs that are trending in positions I never would have even thought to predict for them, both in the positive and negative context of that statement!

I'll try this prediction thing lol but I suck at it so
1. "Slow Burn" by Kacey is my prediction, but maybe "High Horse." Maybe "Mercy" too. I'm seriously hoping "Criminal" by Lindsay Ell is a dark horse contender for #1, and if so, I think she actually has a chance to pull it off!
2. "Caught Up In The Country" or "Up Down" maybe? I don't really know lol, could def see Rodney being last tho so I'll say him.
3. Top 10 will include: Slow Burn, High Horse, Mercy, and Criminal for sure IMO. Otherwise who knows. I am terrible at predicting stuff like this in a RD with so many songs.
4. Bottom 10: Garth, Rodney, FGL, FGL/Wallen, Chase, and maybe Tenille Townes cuz of her voice. Possibly "Turnin' Me On" by Blake too.
5. Tenille Arts will do better! The other Tenille will have too polarizing of a voice.
6. lol no. It stands no chance of winning whatsoever. I could see it placing somewhere mid-range. I'll say around 55 lol.
7. I think "Slow Burn" will finish highest, if not that, "High Horse." I think "Butterflies" will be the lowest.
8. "Tequila" for SURE! They never escape my bottom 5 tho, so both songs can gtfo asap thanks.
9. "Take You Home" probably even tho I prefer "One More Red Light"
10. "Long Way Down'
11. Not as high as some might think, lol. I think it's an awful song, but I could still see it cracking the top 50 at LEAST. Maybe higher cuz it's Reba.
12. A Kacey song probably, I will say Slow Burn.
13. Rodney or FGL/Wallen with Up Down.
14. Drunk Girl hopefully, but I don't use either one so. Whatev lol.
15. God only knows! Hopefully I helped one of the Michael Ray songs and hurt Florida Georgia Line, that's really all I want out of this RD.
