Midland is very overrated. I still don't see much appeal in them. "Drinkin' Problem" had a really clever hook that brought something different to the table, but the two follow-up singles they've released are mediocre. They were pretty blah when I saw them live, too.

Honestly a little surprised "Still the Same" made it this far. It was a huge grower for me. The chorus is super catchy and engaging, but the verses are really generic and as a comeback single it definitely wasn't the strongest effort. I'm glad they had "Babe" waiting in the wings for them, even though that song still didn't do nearly as well at country radio as it deserved to.

I hate everything about "Still The Same." The style, the lyrics, the production... everything. Preach!! Seriously wtf at everything about this song. This fails on every level. I especially hate that dumb robot voice 3 2 1 crap. Also the chorus is so horribly paced. Glad it flopped and will be forgotten of by most people beyond the diehard fans. |

Well I wouldn't know how Midland sounds live, because Little Big Town's team found it prudent to have THEIR VIP MEET AND GREET BE THE SAME TIME AS THEIR SET!
Still a little upset about it.

The few seconds I appear on there crowd during the Still The Same music video is enough for me to have a deeper connection to the song LOL

Can’t wait to see then live again, actually It was a small venue so I thought they would've shined in that setting, but they weren't the best performers and seemed very awkward and disconnected from the crowd, most of which weren't engaged and only seemed to really care when they pulled out "Drinkin' Problem" at the end of their set. The lead singer dude also did something douchey at the end before they left the stage where he took a girl's phone from the audience and pretended to take a selfie with her but then faked her out and just handed the phone back to her. It was super cringey. I'm glad you enjoyed their performance, but I honestly thought they were pretty mediocre in every way, lol. |

ADORE "Lose It." It is a jam in every way imaginable. Killer melody and production. I wish this could have made top 50, but I'm glad it was able to make it this far honestly. I knew it'd have plenty of tankers.

I didn't like "Lose It" for the longest time but suddenly when it was starting to peak it started growing on me. That being said, I think this bowing out here feels about right.
Similar to that one, "Down to the Honkytonk" just started growing on me too, such a JAM.
"Still the Same" is meh in pretty much every single way, there's nothing engaging about the song to me.

"Down To The Honkytonk" is OK. It's catchy enough and okay to hear on the radio now and then, but it's not something I'd ever go out of my way to listen to.

"Goodbye Summer" deserved far better on the charts. Should've been at least Top 20, though I would've liked Top 10. Might've been Top 10 on my rankings as well.
