"David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs" is an interesting song because of that title, but tbh I have never liked it as much as I feel like I should. Travis Denning just doesn't sound very impressive as a vocalist, and while this song is pretty ingenious in theory, it becomes very monotonous after just a couple listens. This has all the hallmarks of a song by a flop artist that I would probably rank in my bottom 10 in one of the early '00s rankdowns while people like Kanenrá:ke put it at #13 Lmao

Kane Brown - the most overrated mainstream country artist. "Heaven" is no exception. Would've been bottom 10 for me, maybe.

Not surprised Desperate Man is my first top 10 loss. It may not be suitable for high rotation on radio but it is still a great upbeat song that suits the album, especially since country radio was generally too slow and mellow last year. Also Leo ✔ guess we can be friends (minus Julia Michaels stanning part )! And bye zaclord 🌈 lol Rachel Wammack does have a unique voice but I am not sure whether she sounds good on radio. Get to You is cliche but sung well. However Brett in The Long Way is even better (it seems he can only do this song in original key in studio though ) The only good part of Speechless is the chorus. The theme of Travis Denning song is interesting enough among last year country radio songs. But the melody has a large room for improvement. Also it's sad that his new single sounds like Jason Aldean knockoff. Heaven is boring R&B period.

"Sixteen" is just such a bland, forgettable song... Ugh... Those of you who swear it is the best song on Thomas' newest album definitely have done a great job of dissuading me from ever listening to one of his albums...

I'm glad "Sixteen" got decently high. I really like that song. The progression of the song is really cool. Thomas Rhett's really improved, but we got his much better song coming up later.

No idea what everyone else hears in Kan't music that I'm apparently missing.
And I assume my 87 and 96 aren't going exiting soon but it's nice to have almost my whole bottom-30 finally clear.

"Marry Me" is easily the best song on the album. And it's not bland. It's basically a mainstream version of Lori McKenna's "We Were Cool". Which is much better, but this is still a pretty good version of it.

My major complaint towards Sixteen is that the time span is too short to say "we sit around and we laugh about how we used to be" at the end. Dude you don't have that much impressive life experience to reflect on...

Lmao y'all might not have realized that, despite the fact that bigfan101 still has almost his entire bottom 5 in, he actually still has other low songs remaining too... This time he loses his #108, which unfortunately for him is not one of his bottom 5s. However, he prevents the Pistol Annies from making the top 30 in the process, which I guess will probably make him feel better about himself for some reason.

I thought Pistol Annies would be a bit lower when Hush Hush was eliminated at 50 something in a year-end rankdown...This is not as catchy as that song and tbh, the "yeah yeah"s in this song could be as annoying as the "boo-boo-boo"s in Desperate Man.

I do like “Got My Name Changed Back” quite a bit, but the ‘yeah yeah’s’ are so annoying lol. Definitely bring the song way down for me, I would have probably ranked this higher if it wasn’t for that.
“Hush Hush” is WAY better tho.

Dude you don't have that much impressive life experience to reflect on... Yes, because a dude with a wife and two kids never looks back on when "all we cared about was turning 16". A lot likely changed from age 15 to 25 for him.

Thank god that atrocious “Got My Name Changed Back” yeahhhhh yeeeaaahh crap missed the top 30. The first time I heard it (while doing this rankdown) I put that shit at 115 without hesitation. Turns out there’s shittier shit ... but this really is complete trash to my ears. Sorry to it’s fans, but holy nuts ... I’d have loved to live my life without ever hearing this.

There are just so voices that are like nails on a chalkboard to me. Kacey’s voice is just that.
But one of her songs did Escape my bottom 5 because i really respected the lyrical quirk. Probably my “favorite” song of hers since her debut.
My other song in the bottom five is by an extremely overrated artist IMO. I don’t think there is much particular passion for this song, so i don’t think it will make it much further.

Bowing out at #39, we finally say goodbye to bigfan101 's first bottom 5!!!! Luckily for him, it's his least favorite of the bunch... As you can see, y'all are looking at the most polarizing song of the entire list! This song had a top 5 vote, and a whopping TEN top 20 votes, alongside its 8 bottom 15 votes. I can definitely see why people find this one annoying. I'm sure it's largely driven by the odd "boo boo boo boo boo boo boo" vocalization during the musical transitions. Personally I find it to be pretty catchy, but it did probably last a tad too long here. So it's boo boo boo boo? I thought for the longest time it was poo poo poo poo...and I was all like thanks for reminding me of that one Kanye song. It looks like it would be fun in his concert though, particularly the grown man part. If I was well, I'd be scolding some of you for your treatment of Scotty McCreery and Cole Swindell (which had a career peak with BUITE). But I'm not, so consider yourselves scolded. :sip2:
