I think its safe to say GAH and Memories won't hit #1. MAYBE Memories but GAH has peaked. I think Mariah could get #1 12/21 actually and then keep it for 2 or 3 weeks

What about after Christmas? After Christmas i think ROXANNE will go #1 or maybe something new. Blinding Lights maybe top 3 but i dont think that will go #1. Dance Monkey's the wild card here. It loiked really likely to make #1 but the further we go towards 2020 the more skeptical i am. But maybe after Christmas it can make some gains and reach #1 |

It’s funny how the current singles by post malone and the weeknd hit #1 with a great but not perfect track (Circles/Heartless respectively), but has a promo single or a ‘backup’ lets say that’s a million times better, lingering on the charts (Take What You Want/Blinding Lights). I just hope the 2 latters will hit #1 and if not at least 1 of them

I wouldn't really say this is a prediction, and it was just released so it's not charting yet, but I severely hope "Dirty Iyanna" becomes a number one hit. I still don't know what to think of it and I can barely believe it actually exists.

Agreed. FS2020 seems very likely to become a massive hit in 2020. I think it could be the next BIG hit. Other then that i actuslly think Circles will probably retake #1 when thr Christmas stuff ends, or maybe ROXANNE but that one is still not to Circles' level |

Roxanne & AIWFCIY are all but confirmed, Maroon 5’s “Memories” is suuuuper close to the top. I don’t think Good As Hell will anymore. The only other song that’s currently out that I think has a shot in the future is “everything i wanted”

imo the only two songs that could do it are Dance Monkey and Roxanne, the latter in particular seems like a safe bet for the first #1 of 2020.
could see Futsal Shuffle getting there, but i really like we don't see a ton of streaming only hits top the charts these days. same with Dirty Iyanna, plus there's no way a song that blatantly awful sticks around for more then a few weeks.

Putting a safe bet on ROXANNE, I imagine a remix will come in January to push it over the edge. Feel like Dance Monkey will stumble at the last hurdle though.

Alright, where to begin? I’m still betting on “Circles” to get at least one week at #1 given how weak the charts are right now. “Good As Hell” seems to be an obvious contender to me thanks to its steady rise on radio, and I’m really looking forward to that. Maroon 5’s “Memories” might get a week depending on the extent of the Christmas freeze this December. It still has a lot of room to grow both on radio and sales, and any remix might give it the required boost. “All I Want For Christmas Is You” will reach #1 this holiday season, mark my words. Unless Adele, Rihanna, or Lady Gaga decide to conspire against Mariah and release their lead single during the Christmas tracking week, there’s no way it ain’t topping the charts. Finally, once the Christmas freeze is over, I can definitely imagine “Dance Monkey” becoming the first #1 hit of the 2020s. Okay, 2 out of 5 correct predictions. Unfortunately, "Good As Hell" seems to have peaked on radio (its biggest strength), so I'm not as confident about it now. "Memories", on the other hand, still has some room to grow on radio, and as soon as the top 5 becomes devoid of any particularly dominant songs, it could get at least one week on top. It's very uncertain, though. However, my strongest bets are now on "Dance Monkey" and "Roxanne", the latter which should easily notch #1 after Christmas through a remix with a popular artist. |

I just kmew that Circles wasnt very strong, nothing else seemed too strong and i doubted that anyone would release a big single this late into the year. I honestly am surpised The Weeknd didnt wait until 2020 |
