I've never been a huge Billy Dean fan, but "We Just Disagree" is excellent - far and away his best song IMO. I'm kind of surprised it's out already. It's always reminded me a great deal of Radney Foster's "Nobody Wins", which did quite well in the '93 rankdown, so I was hoping Billy would do well here.
We've lost some really good songs lately, but given the strength of what remains, I guess no real shockers.

One of Toby’s best songs. Don’t get the distaste for him here.

Yoo-hoo LBTrocks! You've lost your first top five! :kii: Meanwhile, we see another hit to my top 20 and two bottom 20 ranks held Toby's first song to leave the rankdown back from potentially making the top half.

Honestly not bad for me that we made it this far and this is just my first top 5 loss lol

And Tanya Tucker becomes the second woman with multiple songs to be completely eliminated in this rankdown. .indulgecountry takes another hit to his top 20 and four others lose a top 40, including me. We also encounter another tie here, except this time #65 has not only one top ten, but multiple top tens.

A shame "Hangin' In" didn't go higher. A fun, little song.

Hmmm.... Are there any country songs about dropped tailgates? I've never heard one, but that would be a pretty good country thing to write about!

It's a girl my Lord in a flat-bed FordIf you take a closer look at that GMC Sierra ad amongst all the tailgates dropping like jaws, a row of Fords join the pack at about the ten-second mark (blink and you'll miss it!). tim takes another hit to his top ten, matching the highest rank of the previous song, and also has a higher SD. This is a fairly popular recurrent despite it missing the top 20 on US country radio, but one would've expected it to have at least made the top ten though. Love the country arrangement of this Eagles' classic!
Next, FOUR people are gonna lose a top 20, including a top ten. Plus, the SD is even higher!

I can't believe I missed the connection between the Ford trucks that cameoed in the middle of the GMC Sierra tailgate commercial and the mention of a flatbed Ford truck in that song! I need to step up my game.

I've never liked "Take It Easy" though it has grown on me a little, still not enough to rank it any higher

Um, “Down on the Farm” is a total jam, a classic, and easily one of Tim McGraw’s best songs. Such a shame it got done so dirty in this.

I was gonna say this is out too early and then I saw my ranking. That is what happens when you like too many songs lol. Still this is out too early!

I’ve never liked “Hangin’ In” and as I’ve mentioned in previous posts I didn’t like anything from the Soon album which is disappointing because I consider myself a fan of most of her work.
“I’d Like to Have That One Back” was always one of my mom’s favorite songs from this year as it reminded her of my dad’s passing just a few years prior. I had to look back to see if I could’ve put this song any higher but I’m just not sure I would move any songs around to make room for this in my top 20. I still revisit this song often, though, and find that I tend to put this one on more in the fall/winter months when I’m feeling gloomy.
I never expect Travis Tritt to do well in these rankdowns and I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see “Take It Easy” exit, although I would've like to have seen it make the top half. This is a jam and it’s one that I’m pretty sure can still be heard on country radio today.
“Down on the Farm” is never a song I go out of my way to listen to but I’ve always found it to be a bit infectious. It’s a rather fun innocent song that I always find myself wanting to sing along with.

Hello? Is anybody there? Somebody loses their #2 next, along with a top ten and top fifteen.

I ranked a Martina song higher than bboat11?? Come again???? At least he had the good sense to put it in his top 10 as well! .indulgecountry also shows incredible taste by putting it top 20, but the rest of you all.... shameful!!! It's a total jam. I guess it IS the type of song Pulse would hate, but it still deserved way better here and I am a bit surprised it is out THIS soon.
