A BOP! Their first single in 1986 which hit #3 in the UK, #1 in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, and Belgium and actually crossed over into the US hitting #78 on the Hot 100, #23 on R&B, and #1 on Dance. Perfect mix of house, pop, and R&B. Love this

Their first hit, released in 1986 from their F.L.M. album. Produced by Stock Aitken Waterman, it hit #3 in the UK and topped the charts in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and The Netherlands. In the US, it hit #1 Dance, #23 R&B, and #78 Pop.

Love it. Recently got the expanded version of the album (F.L.M.) which includes several versions of Showing Out.

So much fun! They were one of the few SAW acts that actually felt genuine.

One of my favorite late 80s dance-pop & British house tracks. This was actually played on B96 back when they were slowly transitioning from Mainstream Top 40 to Dance/Rhythmic Top 40 in the late 80s but I was far too young to remember those years. I'm not sure if B96 played this as 80s gold during the 1990s as I don't remember actually hearing it. I first heard this listening to some of those 80s pop internet radio stations that I used to listen to back then.

Great dance song. I can envision myself just dancing the night away to this.
