This is 4 years old already?!?! I remember hearing this the first time and I was like "This sounds like a hit, but I don't think I can play this over and over again"

4 years ago today, "Shape of You" by Ed Sheeran scored its 12th and final week at No.1 on the Hot 100. It also topped the Adult Contemporary, Adult Top 40, Dance Club Songs, and Mainstream Top 40 charts. "Shape" and "Castle on the Hill" were simultaneously released as lead singles from his 3rd album "÷" and "Shape" topped charts in 34 markets including the U.K. where it led for 14 non-consecutive weeks. I reckon "Shape" is a harmless, catchy record however it's nowhere near the brilliance of "The A Team" or "Lego House." I would have prefered for "Castle on the Hill" to be the most successful single out of the two.
