I really like Collin Raye, but apparently was not very impressed with that song... Lol. Sorry castleoblivion26!

I LOVE "Someone You Used To Know". Funny fact that I may have mentioned before but Collin's Direct Hits album was one of the first country CD's that I got and I enjoy every single song on that album. Very few singles I don't enjoy from him.

“Meanwhile” is one of those songs that people see the title and go “I don’t think I remember that one,” then hear the chorus and go “ohhhhh I know that one!” lol

"Meanwhile" is a bit of a quirky song from George. Between the 6/8 time signature, and the somewhat jaunty yet understated melody, I can understand why it isn't one of his universally-loved singles (compared to something like "Write This Down"). However, I have always considered it to be quite underrated, and it is really a shame that it was one of his few songs to get marooned at #2. But like, it also hit #1 in Canada, so what the hell America... It's not included among his 60 #1s, but it must have been THIS close!

Wow, I'm really shocked this is out- that gap from 40 to 81. ![:dead:](http://ruadventures.com/forum/Smileys/animated/smiley_resurrect_grave.gif) This was me and my highschool girlfriend's "song" ![:giggle:](//storage.proboards.com/1258812/images/KYziZwTotWGtjvzyvGqr.gif)

This is cheesier thanI was thinking of Back At One for a second. I love Mark Wills' voice in general, and I like how ghostly this is.

I don't like "She's In Love" and it can go but the Patty and Martina tunes, wow. Done so dirty.
"Can't Get Enough" has always been one of my favorite Patty songs. The vocal arrangement is amazing and Patty SLAYED the vocals!!!!!! Such a jam!!!
"I Love You" is fabulous! So catchy and infectious, and really fun! The chorus is melodic heaven! Should have been way higher.

"I Love You" really is a love-it-or-hate-it song. Wow @ the split in the rankings there. ![:dead:](http://ruadventures.com/forum/Smileys/animated/smiley_resurrect_grave.gif) Love me some Patty Loveless but iirc I ranked "Can't Get Enough" either in last on her singles rankdown or very close to it. Just not a good song from her at all. OTOH, sad to see "Powerful Thing" and "Wrong Night" so low. Both deserved better. :/

You should just be happy I didn't rank a Montgomery Gentry song in my bottom 20 tbh. ![:sip:](//storage.proboards.com/1258812/images/WfP77sf444N0bFhVzFU1.gif)

Surprised "Wrong Night" is out already. Reba usually does pretty well in these and the melody is so darn good on that one.
On the other hand, I had forgotten that the Patty Loveless song was still in. Probably my least favorite single be her. The weird stutter just doesn't work for me, and it pretty much ruins the song.

So this section of reveals is the "let's make LBTrocks mad" section it seems lol Yeah that's one of Patty's worst, still good but I'm surprised it lasted this long tbh. I'm loving how well I'm doing since I've only lost 2 top 20's. Sure this will probably jinx myself but I'm happy so right now!

As much as I hate seeing George do poorly in rankdowns, seeing "What Do You Say To That" go right on the heels of "Meanwhile" is pretty funny ![:giggle:](//storage.proboards.com/1258812/images/KYziZwTotWGtjvzyvGqr.gif) I definitely am not surprised to see this one leave early either. The melody of the chorus slays, but tbh this is not a song that I ever really think of when I think of George. If you look at the charts, it appears that this was a mega-hit just like everything else he ever released always was, and yet it has literally been forgotten and overshadowed by all his other mega-hits... I consider this to be one of his least-remembered singles of the '90s. "Can't Get Enough" is a weird song. It has a fantastic melody and infectious vocals! But then, whoever the heck decided to put that weird hiccup in the musical arrangement majorly screwed Patty over... That one production element all by itself is enough to make this a song that people either love or hate. If that wasn't there, it would be an indisputable jam that people would have no reason to dislike! I personally am fine with it, but I can see why people would hate it. There's "I Love You"! I was honestly a little shocked when I checked the list heading into the top 60 and saw this song was still in. I know that it has its fair share of haters, and it is at an extra disadvantage because a lot of its most vocal haters are people who would normally rank Martina highly... Anyway, this song is very different from Martina's usual style, and a lot of people still have disdain for it for various reasons (usually through some kind of fault of the person themselves rather than the song)... But I of course love it. I think the poppier musical arrangement has held up very well, and Martina's vocals, albeit less mature than her usual style, really capture the energy of the song. The lighter delivery she gave this song is a very welcome break from the powerful belting that we usually associate her with. Oh well, the expected song is out first, and now we can at least expect her to do pretty well with "Whatever You Say" and "Wrong Again". Mark Wills... I feel like I enjoyed this song quite a bit when I listened to it for this rankdown, but tbh all the losses tonight were so painful that this one is just kinda a nice break... Lol "Wrong Night" - UGH WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!!!!! This song is also unfortunately not one of Reba's well-liked singles, but I HAVE NO IDEA WHY!!!! That brisk, in-your-face tempo is such a breath of fresh air, especially with that beautiful Shania-esque fiddle masterfully leading the way. The entire musical arrangement and production job is one of my favorites of Reba's entire career. There is literally no good reason why this shouldn't be as well-loved and iconic as a song like "If You See Him/If You See Her"... "Hillbilly Shoes" is a tad underwhelming, tbh. I do enjoy it quite a bit, but Montgomery Gentry definitely improved upon this style of song with a lot of their subsequent releases. Nervous for this top 50, tbh! This is going to be a bloodbath with how many incredible songs are left!

Has anybody lost a #1 yet? I don't remember that happening.
