Does that Ariana & 2 Chainz track have any traction? It's #28 on iTunes right now.
I'm addicted to it so I hope it does well.

Just wanted to point out that this isn't correct. Apple Music has the most subscribers in the US, but both Spotify and YouTube have a larger userbase overall as Apple doesn't have a free service like the other two. Yeah, it monopolizes the charts more than any other streaming service is what I meant. Both Spotify & Apple Music's #1s average 10-15 million streams a week, however all of Apple's streams are fully counted while a good portion of Spotify's are reduced. All YouTube streams are reduced, and only when something is pulling abnormally big YouTube views are YouTube streams represented the most. Looking at the numbers for the 19 songs that I tracked last week (top 18 songs + Shallow), Spotify was exactly 50% of the on-demand streams (154.7M / 309.4M).

Talk of Sucker, especially streams and sales, belongs in the 3/16 thread, since it’s entire debut frame will be on that chart. The only potential relevance to this thread is its first few days of radio.

This is the tightest race for #1 in a while for me:
Shallow: 115k sales + 30m airplay + 27m streams = 355 points.
7 rings: 20k sales + 80m airplay + 40m streams = 360 points.

With multiple threads open at the same time where the chart has not been revealed invites random discussion in each thread. Something to just live with

So the likely decided if Shallow goes to #1 is likely YouTube, right
Tight race, I hope Shallow takes it.

Expected Gunna/Offset to have a bigger impact. Seems harder to get an album bomb nowadays.

It'll unfortunately be a long time before we see them again. The main source where they came from was told to immediately remove all of their radio data by Mediabase. Big oof for all the predictors, Hot 100 and year-end I thought Billboard charts are based on BDS. Mediabase is great for spins (love HDD's building charts), but aren't the audience numbers for MB inflated compared to BDS? I've never understood how they could be that vastly different. I'll still miss that chart, though.

Have we had another all female top 3 since Roar/Royals/Wrecking Ball? I don’t even really remember any female top 2s in the past several years other than Bodak Yellow / Look What You Made Me Do. (Other than Ariana occupying the entire top 3 two weeks ago, obviously) In late 2014 we had a couple: Shake It Off/Anaconda/All About That Bass All About That Bass/Shake It Off/Bang Bang All About That Bass/Shake It Off/Black Widow All About That Bass/Shake It Off/Habits Blank Space/All About That Bass/Shake It Off This week won't be an all-female top 3 because of Bradley Cooper though.
