There is a new 2 Chainz album dropping Friday which will feature Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne and more. Should be interesting to see how that does.

I found it interesting how his albums still do decently despite his little success on the Hot 100 these days. Not surprised by all the features, he's the kind who mainly relies on features. |

Seems sus I think they didn't care for other songs, just wanted to put Gaga at #1...#2 is also great PLUS THE FACT that Shallow will be one of her signature songs. Bad Romance was #2 but it's still more popular than 80% of 2010s #1 hits. |

Not to mention there's no way both Melly and Blueface are headed in, they both should peak on the 3/2 chart thanks to the sales dropping off from initial hype. LBRH, Wow. will probably stay afloat and Eastside will join it once more if BUWYGIB relents, while Please Me's vacancy will provide the space for Shallow.

Melly is stable on YouTube, gaining 20% on Spotify and he sold only ~5k last week so iTunes is not important for him. However, the bottom of the top 10 is going to be so strong that I'm not sure if his Spotify gains will be enough. |

I know that like 95% of Kendrick verses in any context are gonna be good to great but this song he sort of forgets how to rap and goes "Red light green red light green light fast cars fast money fuck a bunch of stuff" and even when he's not doing this it's like a 6/10 performance. Also the beat isn't good either especially compared to All The Stars and Pray For Me |

Gaga deserves this so much - she always stuck to her art, and is now being rewarded for it. 2018 has been an epic year for her.
It's such a shame that radio is holding "Shallow" back, it's killing streaming and sales, and probably her biggest worldwide hit since Born This Way (aka 8 years ago).

Wow, radio really did Shallow dirty by ditching it the moment it show weakness. Then the live performances happened and Gaga will be happily laughing her way to another top 5 hit. Now that I think about it, isn't that what happened with Million Reasons also? Basically, but Million Reasons didn't have longevity. It plumetted out of the top 20 after hitting #4, Shallow has had decent longevity. Million Reasons did do better in radio though |
