Got my list in! What a great year of country tunes. There are songs I ranked down in the like 80s/90s that I genuinely think are solid. Most of the stuff I put in my bottom 10-15 or so is awful though. Overall a very strong list.

Such an amazing list of songs!! I just didn’t give myself enough time lately to ever sit down and do this. I’ll definitely be following along though.

1) Which song(s) will be in contention to win?
"Letter to Me", "All American Girl", "Love Don't Live Here", dark horse "Cheater Cheater", also "Just Got Started Loving You"
2) Which song(s) will be in contention for last? "All Summer Long" or "Bob That Head"
3) Which will be the lowest ranking top 10 single? "All Sunmer Long"
4) Which non-top 40 single (you can guess if you're unsure) will finish the highest? "Out The Window"
5) Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? "Love Story"
6) Where will you #1 finish? Won't make it out of the 100s.
7) Where will your #125 finish? Hopefully the same as my #1.

1) Which song(s) will be in contention to win? Some Things Never Change, Learning How to Bend, Johnny and June, All I Want to Do, Love Don't Live Here, Just a Dream
2) Which song(s) will be in contention for last? She's a Hottie, All Summer Long, Bob That Head, Put a Girl in It.
5) Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? "In Color," "Last Name," "Chicken Fried," the two Rascal Flatts songs besides "Bob That Head," maybe "Love Story" and "All-American Girl" (I've seen hate for them before, anyway).
6) Where will you #1 finish? Hopefully in the top 3...
7) Where will your #125 finish? It'll probably survive the bottom 5. Hopefully not much longer after that.

*"Back When I Knew It All", "Takin' Off This Pain", "You Look Good in My Shirt", "You're Gonna Miss This", and "Gunpowder and Lead".
2) Which song(s) will be in contention for last?
*"Back That Thing Up", "Get My Drink On", "15 Minutes of Shame", "Upper Middle Class White Trash", and maybe "Loud"?
3) Which will be the lowest ranking top 10 single?
*"All Summer Long" (I actually don't mind it tbh).

*"I'm About to Come Alive".

1) Which song(s) will be in contention to win? In no particular order I’ll guess “Love Don’t Live Here”, “Gunpowder & Lead”, “You’re Gonna Miss This” and “Letter to Me” all to be in contention along with “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” and “Watching Airplanes” vying for a top 5 finish as well
2) Which song(s) will be in contention for last? You can always count on seeing one of Kenny’s songs at or near the bottom so I’ll guess both “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven” and “Shiftwork”...other bottom ranking songs will likely include “Bob That Head”, “Upper Middle White Class Trash”, “Workin’ for a Livin’”, “Back That Thing Up”
3) Which will be the lowest ranking top 10 single? The overall consensus seems to be that it’ll be “All Summer Long” but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some fans of the song mixed in the bunch, so if it’s not one of the two Kenny songs vying for a bottom ranking it could also be “International Harvester” or maybe even “Chicken Fried”
4) Which non-top 40 single will finish the highest? David Nail’s “I’m About to Come Alive”
5) Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? “Love Story” (along with Taylor’s other songs), “In Color”, and maybe something obscure like “Invisibly Shaken”
6) Where will you #1 finish? Top 15
7) Where will your #125 finish? Bottom five

1) Which song(s) will be in contention to win? This is actually a really hard question. I don't think there are any obvious frontrunners for once. Many of the best songs this year are also songs I could see having random haters, due to overplay or just plain floppy taste. I would like to see Carrie pull it off, but it's more likely to be "Just A Dream" than "All-American Girl". I'd like to think George has a shot with either song here, but I won't hold my breath. Something like "Gunpowder and Lead" or "Watching Airplanes" could have a shot, but will also be battling the effects of overplay. So it will be really interesting to see how this shakes out! 2) Which song(s) will be in contention for last? It's always hard to say what will be dead last on a list this big. It'll probably be something like "She's A Hottie", "Back That Thing Up", or some kind of Garth song like "Workin' For a Livin'". Songs like "All Summer Long" and "Bob That Head" will probably get enough random support to escape the bottom 10. 3) Which will be the lowest ranking top 10 single? Possibly "Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven" or "Shiftwork". 4) Which non-top 40 single (you can guess if you're unsure) will finish the highest? MARTINA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jk. But no, it'll probably be "I'm About To Come Alive". 5) Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? Gonna put in a random guess for "Gunpowder and Lead" to be among the more polarizing songs here! But then again bigfan101 didn't participate... Taylor Swift will undoubtedly have a really polarizing track record here too. 6) Where will you #1 finish? SHOULD be top 10, realistically it'll probably be top 15. This is one of those artists that has no problem reaching the top 10 with the right song, but is by no means guaranteed a spot... They have narrowly missed out a couple times! 7) Where will your #125 finish? I do have faith it will be in the bottom 10, maybe even bottom 5. But there are a couple people with really Floppy taste who will prevent it from being a last-place contender...

LMAO I just realized that "For These Times" isn't even a song that missed the top 40 That awkward moment when you are so successful that one of the biggest flops of your career didn't even miss the top 40

1) Which song(s) will be in contention to win? It could be a handful of different ones, Burning Man for the 2018 Rankdown is about as random as you can get, but I'm going to say the contenders are maybe Just A Dream, Watching Airplanes, and Love Don't Live Here.
2) Which song(s) will be in contention for last? Ditto what everyone's said, She's A Hottie, Shitwork, Bob That Head, Upper Middle Class White Trash
3) Which will be the lowest ranking top 10 single? Shitwork?
4) Which non-top 40 single (you can guess if you're unsure) will finish the highest? I have no idea which ones did so badly they didn't go top 40, but someone said I'm About To Come Alive, so if that didn't go top 40 I'd really like it to be that one.
5) Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? Lookin' For A Good Time, Picture to Burn, Stealing Cinderella
6) Where will your #1 finish? Hopefully top 10. 🤞
7) Where will your #125 finish? Hopefully bottom 10. 🤞

#125. Rascal Flatts - "Bob That Head"
Total Points: 2,225 Average: 117.1 (whoa lol) Year Released: June 16th, 2008 Mediabase Peak: #13 Billboard Peak: #15 Rankings:.indulgecountry - 81 raylatch98 - 95 Cody Wants Out... - 108 LBTrocks - 109 toomuchboy - 111 sabre14 - 116 zaclord 🌈 - 120 bboat11 - 121 George Strait Junkie - 121 austin - 123 someguy - 123 tim - 123 ClevelandRox - 124 CoJoFan - 125 castleoblivion26 - 125 Kanenrá:ke - 125 kw9461 - 125 recordyear - 125 rgreen0625 - 125 Following: bigfan101 carriefan15 "Bob That Head" was the fourth single off Rascal Flatt's Still Feels Good album in June of 2008. It peaked at #13 on Mediabase the last week of August and spent less than three months on the chart. It was written by Gary LeVox, Michael Dulaney and Neil Thrasher.
To this day, I think this was one of the, if not, the worst single choice ever made by a mainstream country record label ("Suspicions", also in this rankdown, was equally terrible). I was literally in shock when this was picked. It's by far the worst song on this album and the worst song of their career. It was met with high negative scores at radio and for good reason. It's so bad, it's almost comical to listen to. It was also the song that ended Rascal Flatts' top 10 streak at radio (19 -- "Life is a Highway" was never an official single).
This was the least polarizing song in the rankdown. 6 last place rankings, 14 bottom 10 rankings and 17 of the 19 lists had this in the 100's. Yikes.

This song is the reason why people don't take Rascal Flatts serious as artists.
I am saying that as the second highest ranker. This song was just atrocious. It does work in 1 way. It is always a good song to laugh at.

I didn't even realize til I did this that the song wasn't titled "Back That THANG Up".
No, but in all seriousness, Justin Moore is a really talented individual and I get why he has had the success he has gotten so far, but I am glad this song bombed and isn't remembered fondly at all.

#123. Garth Brooks & Huey Lewis - "Workin' For A Livin'"
Total Points: 1,958 Average: 103.0 Year Released: December 17th, 2007 Mediabase Peak: #19 Billboard Peak: #20 Rankings:raylatch98 - 52 someguy - 71 kw9461 - 76 George Strait Junkie - 80 Kanenrá:ke - 94 recordyear - 96 sabre14 - 105 zaclord 🌈 - 106 Cody Wants Out... - 107 toomuchboy - 108 rgreen0625 - 109 CoJoFan - 113 castleoblivion26 - 114 austin - 118 LBTrocks - 120 tim - 121 ClevelandRox - 122 .indulgecountry - 122 bboat11 - 124 Following: bigfan101carriefan15"Workin' For A Livin'" was released as the second single off Garth Brooks' Ultimate Hits album in December of 2007. The song is a duet with Huey Lewis, who first did the song in 1982 as a hit rock single with Huey Lewis and the News. It only spent two months climbing the chart and peaked at #19 on Mediabase in February of 2008.
Another terrible single choice. Garth always loved the song and it was a dream come true to cover the song with Huey Lewis. Scott Borchetta also loves rock music, so as the lead of Big Machine (Garth's label for this comeback album), he wasn't going to stop this from being a single. "More Than a Memory" was pretty successful for Garth, debuting at #1 on Billboard and peaking at #3 on Mediabase, so Garth could've returned to the top 10 with the right song and this wasn't it.
