Y'all remember this joint? This was Foxy Brown's second studio album. It came out on January 26, 1999. Hahah..I was only in 5th grade around that time. It debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, making it the second rap album by a female artist to debut at number one on the chart (first being The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (1998) by Lauryn Hill). The album was a commercial success. Selling 173,000 copies in its opening week, it was later certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
I've read that Foxy did a cover of Janet Jackson's "What Have You Done For Me Lately" by sampling Janet's voice, but unfortunately, it never made the cut for the album. I've also read that Foxy had asked Fiona Apple and Madonna to make appearances on the album, but it never worked out.
Hot Spot: #91 Hot 100, #22 R&B, #23 Rap
I Can't ft. Total: #61 R&B
J.O.B. ft. Mya
