“Shake the Sugar Tree” is such an infectious earworm and is amongst one of my favorite songs by Pam...and when even LBTrocks puts it as his #1 you know it’s a good song Now that this album is done that can only mean one thing... Sweetheart’s Dance is next

Lol it's funny you mentioned this because after I went back to read my post I instantly thought to myself, "Well that statement is actually a flop!" especially after he was left out in the pasture for tanking "Nobody In Her Right Mind Would've Left Her" in George's #7 album thread Anyways my thoughts just got scrambled when I went to type and what I was trying to say is it's so rare to see LBTrocks agree with the majority of the participants for what ended up being the winning song.

"I'll Be Home For Christmas" is nauseating no matter who sings it. Dreadful.

Christmas Waltz was so terrible! That scatting at the end... Not sure if Seasons was an original, but I hadn't heard it and found it very... pleasant?

I liked “Christmas Waltz” on my first listen and would say I even somewhat enjoyed the jazz/blues vibe, but after a few edits it ended up falling back to the end of my list. I think I’ll give this one another try next year and see how I feel about it then.
More than not I usually like most versions of “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”, but Pam’s was a bit of a struggle to get through. I’d probably switch this one out for last place now.
I don’t think “Seasons” clicked with me a first but after a couple of more listens I enjoyed it more and more.
And just like in George’s Christmas rankdown I become the first to lose their top ranking song here. I really enjoyed “Silent Night Medley” but didn’t think that feeling would be shared amongst other participants.

This album just plain isn’t very good, but I could get behind any of the remaining songs winning! The two originals are pleasant listens, while the Rockin’ Medley is an innovative, mostly-well-done mashup!

A very soothing, pleasant song. Glad to see it make the top 3, and I’ll take that perfect ranking!

for years I have loved "The Rockin' Christmas Medley" and am so happy it is #1 here. It was the only choice for me to rank at #1. This year is the first time that I have really listened to the rest of the album and I didn't love it as much as I do that song. Hoping that as time goes on that this album will grow on me more.
Thank you everyone for participating! Hope you are all looking forward to moving on to her next albums!

I have casually put on Sweethearts Dance a couple times in the past month, and it is a SLAYER!!! Definitely her best album yet! ♥️

“The Rockin’ Christmas Medley” was the one song that I thoroughly enjoyed on the first listen and even thought about putting it further up on my list so I’m thrilled to see it win! “Beautiful Night” was another great discovery and one I’m sure I’ll be wanting to revisit next Christmas. Thanks for hosting this castleoblivion26 as I always enjoy Christmas music and discovering new songs for the holidays. I’m also very excited to get back to Pam’s studio albums and just like bboat11 I also might’ve played Sweetheart’s Dance a time or two recently lol.
