"It Ain't Pretty" will always be one of my favorite album tracks from Lady Antebellum and I'm at least content that it was able to make into the top 5. I've long connected to the lyrics and have always been one to usually be found at the back of the bar.
I knew that "And the Radio Played" would end up doing well but as someone who grew up on 90's country I don't connect with this one at all and feel like the lyrics are a bit cliché. I've always wanted to like this one more and while I can understand it's popularity amongst everyone here it's just not for me.

I guess that means I'm going downtown after all lol...anyways I wasn't expecting to be the lone #1 for the eventual winner but I'll take it! This has always been my favorite album by Lady Antebellum so I've always been a bit disappointed by it's overall performance on the charts but they weren't dealt an easy hand considering where country radio was at the time. Thanks again Cody Wants Out... for another fun rankdown series and adding in the commentary! |

I'm happy All For Love made the top 2! It's been a nailbiter waiting for it since around #8, I didn't know it'd have so much support!  Not surprised Downtown won. |

As anyone can see from the trajectories here, "Downtown" was the nearly inevitable winner this whole time, although we had quite a few runner-up contenders along the way. I'm sure there'll be mixed feelings about these results, but we've made it to the finish line...and in a reasonable amount of time too!  Album #3 will more than likely come around towards the end of this month or the beginning of the next month (as I attempt to get reveals for 1994 Country up and running). I do like Downtown. I just thought it was kinda weak compared to the rest of the album. That's just me though. I still enjoyed doing this and I'm happy to see All For Love and Get To Me do as well as they did. I look forward to the next album. :)

OMG what a satisfying finish to this rankdown! "All For Love" was my favorite discovery from the album, and I couldn't help but put it at #1. I love the way that the song builds. The way the intensity heightens throughout the entirety of the verses leading up to the chorus is simply perfect. I had no idea what to expect for that song, and never would have thought it would be the highest album track considering how some of y'all rave about "And The Radio Played", so I am very pleasantly shocked with this top 2 finish!!! I had hoped "Downtown" might have gotten a bit less love simply because it was so majorly overplayed, but it is still a fitting and expected winner. Also, I have to acknowledge "Get To Me". Another song that jumped out at me on first listen but I had no expectations for whatsoever, and I am SHOCKED to see it make the top 3! This song just had a nice groove to it. Hillary sells the song well, it all goes down easy, and the best part is that it has one of the most epic baritone guitar melodies I have heard in a long time (which is an especially shocking twist for a Lady A song imo, as don't remember ever really hearing that instrument in their arrangements before)! Overall, I am very happy with this rankdown! Thanks for hosting Cody Wants Out... ! |

I liked this rankdown a lot and I am also suprised the love for "All For Love" (my favorite one) and "Get to Me".I thought I was the only one to see something special on them lol..."Downtown" wasnt on my top 3 but I get the #1 position.Anyway it was a good rankdown to follow through.
