I fell in love with “Hurt” on the first listen and it's the one song that I kept coming back around to the most. I really should’ve put this as my #2 vs. “This City” and from the looks of it that one point would’ve ended up tying this with “Think About You”. No surprise at all to see “Heart Break” take such a decisive win since it really is the best song from the album and even though it only managed a Top 15 peak at country radio I think that has more to say with the current state of the format than it does the band. I’m really glad I ended up diving into Lady A’s albums as thus far I’ve discovered some songs that I wouldn’t have otherwise. Thanks again for the hosting duties Cody Wants Out... ! |

I liked the rankdown some of my choices were close to the final result.It doesnt surprise me Heart Break as #1.

I'll try getting on this tonight!! Definitely wanna join in on these rankdowns as I love Lady A! Thanks goodness I joined Pulse just in time for this album! (Thankfully only missed 3 of them--sadly missed their first one but not TOO upset about the others).

You know, I was very reluctant to doing any of these Lady Antebellum album rankdowns but honestly I’ve found something to like in every one of them. As for Own the Night, I’ve completely fallen for two album tracks in particular and I’m having some trouble deciphering where to rank them amongst a few of the singles...so I’ve decided to take a bit more time with this album until I get that sorted out. I’m still pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed this series thus far, though.
