HISS went #1 because of Nicki. They should’ve started to roll out a third single once they saw it free falling off the charts after the first week. They shouldn’t wait much longer. lol......so why didn't Big Foot go to #1?? |

They shouldn’t wait much longer. lol......so why didn't Big Foot go to #1?? Because it wasn’t good and Nicki was so unserious. Nicki’s ALBUM debuted at #1. Why didn’t Cobra even reach the top 20?. Or any of her singles do well post WAP?. What made HISS miraculously debut at #1 the week of her beef with Nicki that united 10 other fanbases to mass buy and stream?. I’m sure Megan & her team are aware of this and that’s why they’re getting ready to roll out another single because HISS was done after the first week. |

All the singles, imagery and themes of this album have been snake related, strange that she went with a butterfly for the album cover. It's way too busy IMO.
Glad the album is dropping soon though!

The cover is on trend with the whole "rebirth" vibe - snake shedding its skin, moth shedding its chrysalis. I was expecting her to stick with the snake imagery, but makes sense and I love it.

I hope she has physicals ready in stores, but as an independent artist, I imagine that's more difficult to do. I just realized I never even heard Traumatizine. I refused to buy it because it was so expensive and then, I just forgot about it. I loved Good News though and love the singles from this album, so I am excited.

David has been posting the shots without the awful "M" text and it looks so much better. The giant "M" slapped in the middle of these covers is not needed at all. It's already too busy.

What is going on with all these awful covers these days? lol I think this covers works better with the theme she has been pushing since last year. It's not even the idea that's the issue so much as the execution. The horrible contrast of the faded giant M, the color choices, the cheap gradients, the terrible trimming, the painfully fake execution of her body emerging from the cocoon. Like this looks as if it was done by someone on her team who just started their first Photoshop course and learned the very basics of photo manipulation. It's amateurish at best. And the butterfly signifying rebirth theme is so played out at this point, though I understand its signifance to her specifically. The snake imagery was much better IMO. |
