I still hate that we give people who we are all publicly well aware are terrible people a career still
But man, if there is one good thing to come out of all this is the unity between women especially in the music scene right now
I saw Tinashe in the comments of the vid above and then with the support of fellow artists like JoJo and Kehlani, it really is wonderful to see the love going around between women in an industry that people love to pit women against each other instead of alongside one another

Yes that last sentence, we been knew who shot her since the following morning of the shooting. Hopefully they can still convict his ass.
Part of it was also she didnt wanna be called a snitch I suppose but it is what it is. In the black community there is also too much "let's protect black men" which allows trash like him to slip through the cracks. I'm glad in this case it's been mostly positive towards her outside of a few.

In our culture girls are raised to take care of boys and or "hold them down" and it seems even when they are toxic girls still try to protect them because either they arent believed coming forward or they get attacked for putting a black man in jail etc. I'm not attacking her actions I just wish society was open enough to accept women. Look at when Jennifer William's came out and said Tommy from that reality show was abusive and stalkerish and she got attacked all over the shaderoom and mostly by other women. Couple years later he is charged for killing his own nephew..... |
