It looks like 7 Rings seems to have stalled in radio airplay and might not reach #1 in Radio Songs, especially if Without Me continues to fall slowly. Shallow should reach the top 10 by tomorrow and Sucker probably in a couple of weeks.

With both Sicko Mode & Girl's Like You tying records for most weeks in the top 10, I wonder if this'll be the new normal or not. Especially considering Happier & Without Me having 20+ weeks so far.

If it peaks soon (or if it has already peaked last week), 7 rings is not even gonna reach NTLTC's 96-97M peak. I guess radio has so many Ariana songs to play that it's hard to reach higher peaks. |

Somebody please explain to me what an "Old Town Road" is cos all I found was some video game video under 2 minutes and both the song title and the artist name on Wikipedia redirect to something called TikTok. Quit being so obnoxious and listen to it yourself. I don't even know who you are, why are you coming for me? I asked a legitimate question, someone answered and I thanked them for it. This was all after I listened to the song - I just didn't think that could have been the real thing. The fact that you got 9 likes and counting on your bullying comment shows a lot about the people who frequent these threads. ^^Having too many songs on radio at the same time by the same artist creates competition among them and probably causes them to peak sooner than they would otherwise as a consequence.

What do you think it will take for Billboard to decrease the value of downloads on the Hot 100? "Shallow" was #1 this past chart week with only 32k sold. Will it take the #1 consistently having under 25k? Under 20k?

I've felt that the contribution of downloads to the chart is already understandably low and is only getting lower as download figures fall. The two MVs were kinda cheap, but I guess you're right there too. It just feels like between Better Now and Sunflower, he doesn't do much to promote his singles compared to let's say Travis Scott or Ariana Grande. |

I agree with everything you said except the part that Old Town Road is bad. After seeing some (more like dozens) posting about this song I checked it out and first I was like wtf aswell,but it was a grower. I never heard sicko mode on the radio aswell,the only time I heard about it was when I saw someone posting Drake's part on insta months after the release. If I wouldn't have seen it I would have never listen to it. Maybe it has something to do with it not being that popular here compared to the US/English speaking countries. Sorry for my ****** up grammar😂 Edit: and for those who will be like "SIT DOWN problematic kid or whatever " because I didn't agreed with them on their opinion in the past,I said what I said. This is an chart thread and everyone has their opinion or favorite song/genre/artist. We have people here who love Pop/Hip Hop/trap/EDM/alternative and so much more.
