Yay, I’m glad to see another chance for her to potentially chart well again. I hope that whatever this is is good and connects with the general public. It was disappointing to watch 365 flop.

Really don’t know what to expect though. It feels like pop is kind of all over the place at the moment so there’s really no set direction we can assume she’ll take this.

PLEASE have strong easily sung along to lyrics that are clever. Strong instrumentals. Strong vocals, especially ad libs. Please don’t have a clunky chorus like Chained To The Rhythm or weak chorus like Hey Hey Hey. I’m so nervous for this but I’m praying it’s good!!  |

Never Really Over feels like a Katy Perry song title to me and the best one I can come up with.
But then again this is also Katy Perry. There's just as much of a chance the song is titled Neanderthals Rarely Ovulate.

Can't believe I'm saying this (b/c I hated IKAG and CG, and Roar burned on me fairly quickly) but the song of the summer situation is so f**king dire right now, and I'm not 100% sure if I can rely on Halsey just yet to fix it, that I really need Katy to come through and save us from this recent onslaught of mediocrity with a true event single.
