It's Friday afternoon and they still don't have an article about Old Town Road breaking the on-demand record with 80M+ and having a 3:1 lead over the #2 song. #BillboardS**** Probably because the streaming songs chart has become the primary chart and On Demand is just a subset of that one

The last time a song had a huge overall streaming or on-demand week (7 rings), they posted the article on Monday, the same day they revealed the Hot 100's top 10.

^ Yeah, if they didn't mention those things in the original article, such a separate article would most likely only come out the same day or within a couple days of the original (Wednesday), so we're not getting one, things are moving on to next week. But yeah, since the "Streaming Songs" chart is the main chart for all types of streaming activity and the "On Demand" chart only a subset, they've been mentioning the latter far less frequently, if it all, even in cases where records are broken I guess, and the fact of there being two versions (Billy Rae remix and the original) isn't the reason, because as long as remixes aren't wildly different from the original, Billboard combines all versions for the On-Demand and most other song charts.

All based on what the writer thinks the readers want or what the writer has time for I guess
