They're getting so many opportunities on the acting and TV front! I'm happy for them, but I hope they don't neglect their music career.

Has anybody listened to the spatial audio (Dolby Atmos) of Dancing With The Devil? Whoever mixed it clearly hates Demi 😂 I finally listened to the whole album with my good headphones and the mixing on every track is a mess. i guess since 90% of your audience is listening on 29.99 knock off airbuds it doesn't matter much, but the audio engineering on this album was all over the place.

The way Demi is phrasing it there makes it seem like being trans is a bandwagon and something you can turn on and off, instead of it being a commitment for a lifetime. Sounds like a mockery to trans people to me.
And that last quote, about them possibly reverting back to identifying as a woman in the future... I called it when they came out as non-binary. 🙄

A one-person circus show is what this thing is. Just another bandwagon-hopping, attention-seeking, clout-chasing, disingenuous little scoundrel that thinks exploiting an entire social movement -that is designed to procure dignity, acceptance and equality for those that have been historically outcasted by society, is a "cool" thing to do. Such an unlikable, self-entitled little punk a$$ b*tch that repeatedly attempts to parlay her own self-serving interests and frivolous grievances into the idea that she's this noble social justice warrior and advocate. The ultimate phony and tryhard. Demiw̶i̶s̶e̶foolish, the Masquerading Clown.

I read it on ET this morning. What Demi said doesn't sound as offensive in that context as Page Six and these online blogs make it sound like.

The ET article is still jarring to me. I get what they're trying to say, I really do. Most of the times they open their mouth, they have a unique, valid and strong point of view, but they have a messy way to express them IMO. They should really get some lessons on how to improve their communication skills, cause all of their controversies are always because of how they phrase their ideas.

HAHAHAHA, don't flatter your stanning of this tacky, Hollywood-incarnation-of-a-Karen, junkie clown - NO ONE is seething, we're laughing at what a bozo they are, and how their foot is perpetually lodged inside of their own throat.

Calling them a "junkie clown" was extremely uncalled for. Edit: oh I see you also called them a "thing." Demi, one of the most problematic celebrities in Hollywood, always opening their mouth and inserting their foot, has more class in their pinky than you do. Edit 2: oh, you're that one from the Carrie Underwood thread. Yeah, how you're acting in here is on brand for your type of personality: Trumpster fire. You'll be permabanned soon enough and we'll all forget about your existence within the same week. Blocked. Forgotten. Bye, Karen.

I'm the furthest thing from a Trump supporter, and I never posted a single thing that should even loosely suggest the idea, so try again, bozo. Oh, and yes, using one's platform as a celebrity to both attack and attempt to cancel a family business is definitely classy!

Demi being problematic... what's new This. They have to be one of the least likeable celebrities out there. Their voice is phenomenal, great music, but should have a team do a complete PR overhaul next era. If they would accept the feedback, of course.

I think some times, like with this interview, they did not mean to come accross like they did and were not trying to be harmful in any way. But then again the fro-yo flashbacks give me nightmares They have been terrible at the social media game as well for years now, even taking "breaks" from Twitter and Instagram but it's always a mess when they eventually return. I'm still way more worried about their recent music making very little to no noise. I'm not a huge fan of the last album, which felt like a regression after TMYLM and "Sober", but general audiences probably don't even know there's a recent album out there.

Dropped a new song written for a friend who lost their addiction battle two years ago and donating all song proceeds to The Voices Project.
But, also, 😭

So, on a totally different note, Met Him Last Night grew on me a lot. I get why it didn't become successful, but its a good little song.

Let’s ignore the mess.
Chile…anyway so. I listened to the album again Friday and realized how much grew on me. The writing can be a bit on the nose/lacking finesse, but I think there’s a lot of solid-good tracks on the album. I’m not sure that it’s sonically a cohesive album, but it’s a nice collection of songs.
Good Place is a perfect closer.

I’m Sorry should’ve been on the main album. It’s one of my fave deep cuts from her now.

I mean, this album was a total colossal failure and it really shouldn't have been that way. Demi does their own self sabotage but management is also to blame here... even from that terrible initial rollout.
And let's not even talk about how I LOVEDDDDDD Dancing with the Devil (the song) and then they put out that horrific video.

I actually quite liked the album. It had the pop sound I feel other artists have been distancing from in recent years and I enjoyed it. Not their best effort but not their worst either.

"Lonely People", "The Way You Don't Look at Me", "Carefully", and "Easy" are the ones I return to the most. The productions and their vocal remind me of Sheryl Crow.
