Continued from main thread: Really hope an Eminem & Rihanna collab isn't on the way. Have you heard "Love the Way You Lie" recently? It aged terribly. The melody and production were what saved it from those god-awful lyrics ten years ago, but yikes it sounds horrible now. Especially that sparkly chime thing after each chorus. And "The Monster" just straight up sucked from day one.Thankfully you are in the minority, and respectfully you are wrong about the things you stated(especially the last one). Most people will welcome their collab. But it is just speculation, and from a not so reliable source (because the account has posted false stuff in the past 2 years about various Eminem drops). I can't really be wrong since it's an opinion. I'm also not in the minority for thinking LTWYL has bad lyrics. That's always been a criticism of the song since day one.

Roses being on two different genre charts with two different versions reminded me of something. What was the deal when 'Summertime Sadness' became a hit? It was charting on Hot Rock Songs for a few months, but then in August 2013 it got moved over to Hot Dance Songs. Of course it started getting a little popularity with the original and some early dance remixes, and then blew up with the Cedric Gervais version, but how did it completely disappear from the Rock charts? Could all points only count towards one chart, so when the remix became massive all points that originally went towards Hot Rock Songs/digital sales/streaming now went towards Hot Dance Songs et al.?

Unfortunately not until November 2022 I swear what's taking Anna Kendrick so long 😭 I would love a full album from her, ngl.

I'm hoping some Hot 100 chart enthusiasts can help me out here.
I was randomly skimming through some Hot 100 charts back in the 80's. I noticed that the issue dated Dec 22, 1984 had Careless Whisper by Wham re-entering the chart at #37 that week. This caught me by surprise since I cannot find a chart that shows the week it debuted before that.
Was this a mistake or did Careless Whisper have a Hot 100 chart run prior to Dec 22, 1984?

I was thinking it had to be but hard to believe a mistake of that magnitude wouldn't be noticed by a single person before publishing. After all, it was a Hot 100 debut inside the 40 which wasn't as common back then like today.

Random question: when Sam Smith's "Lay Me Down" cracked the top 10 in early 2015, does anyone who followed the charts back then remember if that had anything to do with the John Legend version he released for UK's Comic Relief? As the song (billed solely to Smith) made top 10 in the US around the same time the new version hit #1 in the UK.
