Gorgeous, gorgeous music video! I'm ready for this song to blow up into a huge hit.

I was wondering what Colbie Caillat was up to. Her voice is beautiful, and she sounds like a perfect fit to make country music. I hope this does really well.

This one finally cracked the Hot Country Songs chart this week. It's up to #33 on the Country Airplay, too. It's still chugging along slowly. I hope it can take off in the next few months.

Well this song moved up to #32 on Mediabse this week setting a new peak and has gotten as high as #31 on Billboard. Unfortunately this week was not kind to the song as "What Could've Been" only gained 14 spins this week and given this week for every song in the Top 40 was just getting countdown spins back for this past Monday's update, I suspect this song is probably gonna lose it's bullet tomorrow.
Out of all the songs in the Top 50. This is the one song I have never heard on country radio so I checked it out tonight, and while this song is nice overall, I am not shocked this song has taken a while to get going as it is a bit bland and does not really stand out overall.

This goes recurrent after 25 weeks on Billboard. Its peak was #31. I wouldnât be surprised if the label keeps pushing it, but itâs been treading water for a little while.

I imagine the label will keep promoting it and it'll re-enter the charts in the next week or two and continue to move up. Something was posted recently that said the label was tentatively aiming for a May release date for their debut album, so I feel like that indicates they believe in seeing this one through the long haul.

Yeah of the 3 songs that went recurrent this week (Caylee and Trisha being the others) I feel this one has the best shot to come back onto the chart and continue it's climb. I imagine the label would rather push this one now than chance a second single not taking off.
They have a very radio friendly sound so even if this one doesn't do much more I imagine they're going to have a breakthrough.

I cannot believe "Gone West" wasn't the single.

Good news, this song officially enters the Top 30 on Mediabase at #30 so this should get CCUSA spins in a couple weeks.
Bad news, the bullet is at a very low 15, in fact since January 6th (almost 3 weeks ago) Gone West has only gained 23 spins and lost over 500k in audience. Maybe this song can stick around for a couple more months, but I am starting to think this song is stalling out at this point.

Goes recurrent again on Billboard. At this point it may be time to jump ship on this song as "What Could've Been" will also be losing CCUSA spins this weekend which is certainly not helpful

Much as I'd love to see them revive this and be able to turn it into a hit, it's probably for the best that they just move on. Personally I think they should release their self-titled track to radio as their next one, which really should've been their debut single all along imo.

It just baffles me how much this has struggled. Even with the whole females in country music issue going on, i still thought this was destined to at least find its way to the top 10, if not #1. Maybe i overestimated the name recognition that Colbie Caillat has out there, but this song to me is every bit as good as past top hits from Lady A, LBT, and other groups out there.
I really like this group so hopefully the next release will catch on better.

New release today. I just love their sound. It's breezy and fresh. Gets me ready for summer.
(although, does anyone has any ideas why they released this on a Tuesday versus the more traditional Friday? Feels like we are going to get a promo blast this week OR maybe there is some announcement coming today?)

I went to my amazon music unlimited app to listen to the new Gone West song and i noticed that there is actually an album listed to be released on June 12, 2020. It contains the 4 songs from the Tides EP from last year, What Could've Been, and the brand new released track called Slow Down. The album looks like it will be called "Canyons" and have at least 12 songs on it! I don't see the album pre-order on iTunes but the new song is on various streaming platforms. They will perform on TODAY show today so they may announce it officially by then. The album actually will have 13 songs. Also I'm Never Getting Over You as a song title had me giggled.

So if they hold on until the album drop for this song, that means the label is gonna have to be behind this for another 15 weeks. Oof, this single really needs to be dropped because it is quite clear to me that country radio is not really on board with this song, and the most I see this doing at this point is re-entering Billboard and contending for a Top 20 peak at best. But because of the album, I imagine they are gonna promote this til the album drops in June or if the wheels fall off entirely for this song beforehand.

"Slow Down" is another winner. Their harmonies and melodies are both incredibly tight. I'm absolutely in love with their output thus far, and I'm ready for them to blow up at country radio with something (most likely not gonna be this single, but with luck "Slow Down" or whatever else follows it will do better at connecting). Very much looking forward to Canyons and I'm glad to hear that it's supposedly coming out here in a few months.

Following the Today Show's performance, this is on the top10 of Country iTunes and the Tides EP is at #2 (maybe people didn't realize that there's a pre-order of the album with all the EP tracks on it?)

What are the odds this going to re-enter the charts again? Pretty good since it has a bullet over 100 and has gained a decent bit of audience. I still don't see this song being a big hit, but since they have an album out in June I imagine they are gonna push this til then. I do think this song going recurrent twice during it's chart run is a pretty good indicator that country radio isn't all that enthusiastic about this song

I am kind of annoyed that because of the album dropping in June is pretty much the sole thing keeping this song alive as "What Could've Been" lost it's bullet this week on Mediabase and stands a decent chance of going recurrent this week on Billboard, speaking of which this song has pretty much been just below the Top 30 on Billboard since the beginning of the year. I imagine country radio is pretty much over this song, and I really wish they'd abandon this one and get another song going since I do think country radio does like Gone West but this song is not the one to break them out.

Radiotraks sent out a survey containing 3 songs : Talkin' Bout You (my favorite), Slow Down (my least favorite) and Knew You

Well RadioTracks sending that out does probably mean the end is getting near for this song as the album is expected to come out in a little under 2 weeks. This song did manage to move up a couple spots on Mediabase to #25 so the group has their first Top 25 single as "What Could've Been" gained 58 spins and nearly broke even in audience the past 7 days.
I imagine once the album drops within the next week or two at most the label will probably abandon ship on this song. It's really telling radio is over this song and ready to move on considering the fact that this song started the year on Billboard at #31 in early January and we are about to enter May and this song on Billboard is currently at #30. I imagine when this song is done the label will drop this like a rock

I've noticed that Triple Tigers will support their artists singles as long as they can. I don't think they will drop it that easily. Remember when people didn't think Scotty McCreery would get past top 20 with "In Between?" He's almost to top 5.

Hopefully the end is finally here for this song as this song fell back 2 spots to #28 on Mediabase with a bullet of -93, as it is beyond time to let this song go as at least on Billboard since the January 6th edition to this past week this song has gained exactly.... 0 spots on the chart (#31 on both charts), even struggling singles from Granger Smith (up 4), Chris Lane (up 17), Lauren Alaina (up 8), Jon Langston (up 5) have more traction than this one.
I do think Gone West could full on break out at country radio, but this isn't it and the label needs to let it go. I know Triple Tigers likes to have all their singles hit #1 but this one is just not going to do it, as their is struggling and then there is essentially being a complete non mover on the chart.

Honestly thought this song was going to break them out, so Iâm disappointed with this chart run to say the least. Iâd go with âSlow Downâ next. Sounds really radio friendly and a driving beat that really propels they song forward.

The whole point of continuing to promote this one is keeping Gone West on playlists leading up to and around the album release. Triple Tigers is essentially paying money for the radio exposure. Theyâre aware this one wasnât getting any higher but who knows how long another single will take to climb the chart, so the thinking is hold on as long as possible.
If the charts were quicker like the old days (and by âoldâ, I mean 10-15 years ago), they wouldâve probably given up on this one a while ago, .
