After a long chain of non-events and increasingly slow chart runs, this is what they need. I expect this to be a big hit.

I love these guys so much, so hopefully this smashes so we can get album three ASAP... They left a lot of single potential on Happy Endings, so we might as well get a new album since they moved on. This song is really good and I don't see any reason why it won't be another chart-topper for them.

This is pretty solid melodically... I hate the instrumentation tho. I just... am not a fan of them. I want to like them; I've seen them live twice now and they put on a good show... met them too, and they are extremely nice guys. Sadly, aside from a couple songs, I'm lost on their music.

I guess the two slower pre-album songs were them fishing for which would be the next single, I didn't think either were in the running though. I thought they would have something bigger and better than even Make It Sweet for the actual album-release single, instead we got a months old song that I kind of forgot about.

I liked "Make It Sweet" more than this one, but this is the first time in their career releasing two above-average singles back-to-back imo. Heard this already on the radio this afternoon and thought it was pretty solid. Not a big fan of them and I think the majority of their singles range from painfully boring to outright mediocre and annoying, but I'm on board with this one being a hit.

The way this is selling right now with such little airplay is highly impressive. Early signs are pointing to this one making a much bigger splash for them than "Make It Sweet" did.

The label must think that “One Man Band” will climb up the Airplay Chart rather quickly. I’d assume they are planning on/wanting this song to be close to the top when the new album comes out on October 25 and that is already only 15 weeks away.

It's already knocking on the door of top 30 after 4 weeks (it just moved up to #33 this week), so I think we can say it already is moving up rather quickly. And with the way it's selling so far, I'm gonna go ahead and predict this one will be their biggest hit to date.

It could very well be there by then. It’s moving pretty fast. Plus, they’ve already scored a sizable hit off the album (though this one seems destined to be bigger).

I heard it on the radio today while out and about and enjoyed it too! I'd be down for it to be a future single once "One Man Band" finishes its run.

My favorite song of theirs is "Not Everything's About You" and I'm still bitter it was never a single. Always the highlight of their live set for me. And judging by audience reaction, it was a major missed opportunity as a single. Pretty much the whole crowd was singing every word.

I loved "Make It Sweet," but everything else I've heard has been just okay at best. Their current single, "Hotel Key," and "Song for Another Time" are all fine. I hate all their other singles though.

That’s the one song of theirs I had in my library because I Shazam'd it after randomly hearing it in the grocery store one day!

I grew to like Hotel Key and Make It Sweet as well. This one’s not bad either.
